I am starting this post because of a happy accident.

I have been happily using a Vision Vivi Nova Mini for about a year. I use 1.5 ohm dual coil wicks.

My vape of choice is 100% VG. My juice also happens to be a tank cracker, so I have an aluminum replacement tank on my vivi. Because of my juice, I replace the atomizer every 3 or 4 days. Re-wicking is not practical unless you disassemble the entire atomizer. Frankly, I don't have the patience.

Recently, I have not been able to find my 1.5 ohm atomizers in stock anywhere, and accidentally ordered 6 from madvapes.com that I did not notice were for the Smok Tech vivi. They are not compatible with mine.

The wicks are much looser in the coil, and I suspect it will be really easy to re-wick instead of replacing the whole atomizer every few days.

Today, I ordered a Pyrex Smok Tech vivi and some extra wick. I will post here how it works out.

This made me think, though, we really should have a thread of atomizers that are "comparatively" easy to re-wick for us VG vapers...

From the site you link to:

Due to the nature of this product there is no warranty. This product is for experienced users and requires technical knowledge in order to properly use it.

Important Note:
Rebuildable atomizer coils and wicks have known risks.

Rebuildables are for experts, not average or beginner vapers with no multimeter or knowledge of how to use a meter, or when a meter must be used, or how electronic devices work. These materials cannot safely be used by the inexperienced or those without basic knowledge of electronics.

This is because:

1. A rebuildable coil/wick MUST be tested carefully with a meter before it is used.
2. If it is not tested it is entirely the risk of the user.
3. Faulty wicks/coils WILL blow electronic devices.
4. New coil/wick units must be tested and then used first on a strong basic electrical APV that has short circuit protection.
5. No new coil/wick assembly should be used on an electronic device until known to be safe.
6. These items destroy electronic devices if faulty. This is a known issue.

That doesn't sound "comparatively easy", LOL

There are MANY RDA atomizers that are SUPER EASY to build and wic. may I suggest starting with the Taifun GT 2. not only will it give you SUPERIOR flavor, especially compared to what you have been using, it's priced low and EXTREMELY easy to learn to build on. I think you will SAVE money not having to purchase the pre-made coils and you will love the flavor so much, you won't turn back. it consists of a single coil that's wicked by threading the cotton material through the coil then the ends are placed into the chimney slots that are cut out. the cap is placed on the chimney then the ends are cut to fit. the tank is easily filled and the pieces are put together. it takes less than 5 minutes to make the coil, wic, and fill. I used to use the novas like you until I tried the RDAS a year and a half ago. it was much easier than I had imagined and the end results were so much more flavorful I never went back. I just thought I would make this suggestion to you .you will really be suprised on the flavor you get and won't be sorry you tried it. you will also save money as I mentioned. I hope this helps and wish you the best.
