True, when I lived in Orlando we used to go just about every weekend to Tampa, Miami, New Orleans or where ever we felt like. I had a really good job then, but really bad hours. When we decided to have a family I gave it up to be home more with them.

Well, I work for Disney, so my hours can some times be all over the place depending on occupancy at my hotel. But it's fun, and being full time I actually get set days off every week. I've had Thursday Friday for so long I tend to keep those, but I'm high enough at my location I could have any combo I wanted, including Sat/Sun (But I find you can't get anything done when you're off on the normal weekend)

I was in the hotel industry for 22 years, started out as a banquet server moving to Banquet Manger then up to Outlet Manager over 2 bars, room service, Banquets and a Restaurant. Mostly under the same corporate umbrella the last 7 years. Got to be rather stressful, but it payed quite well.

Well, I'm hourly at Disney and that will never "pay quite well," but I have fun almost every day I goto work. And the perks are nice. :) But I'm slowly back in school for at least an AS in Hospitality Management. Combine that with right now almost 6 years experience, and I could find myself in management at some point. We shall see.

Thank you for your well wishes gadabout.

And the Cappuccino Tobacco is quite good, at least in my opinion. I love the smell when I am making a batch. It has that dark roast almost caramel smell. I might have to reload from my Granny Smith Apple to the Cappuccino now that you have me thinking about it. Hahaha.

We were considering doing a Cappuccino Tobacco that had caffeine in it as well for people like me that need that little something extra in the morning. I sometimes drink a little coffee in the AM , but thought it would be nice to get it all in the same vape.

always love to see more vendors coming on the scene! the more vendors..the more the worl of vaping is being put out there to hopefully getting ppl off analogs!! good luck in your adventure..and i wish you the best!

and your capp. tobacco looks real good!! :vapor:

I think the thing that I miss the most about being in the hotel industry is the free hotel rooms just about anywhere you wanted to go. My wife worked for hotels as well, so we had all the bases covered. Even if you didn't work for a particular company you could call the general manager of the hotel and speak with them and get in for free or deep discount.

That is one downside to working for Disney as a hospitality employer actually. It's not like there's a Disney hotel in Key West, or Miami etc etc. Tho, I had never thought of just picking up the phone and calling like that. Some chains do offer at least some discounts to us, but not by much. I always feel it's very one sided. Disney gives discounts to airline employees like FAs and such, and of course travel agents and so on down the line ... but when I want to go on vacation, I'm so limited for affordable options.

Calling the person in charge goes a long way, as I was surprised how easy it was to get rooms. I don't think I was ever not given at least a better rate than I could find online. But that was when the economy was better. It may not be that easy now. Plus my wife worked for Ritz Carlton under the Marriott corp, so that had just about anywhere covered to start.

Anyone else with a great idea or 2 cents?

I realize you're new, and you have limited flavors right now. Probably for good reason, as it looks like you want to offer only quality tested flavors. I've seen a "name your favorite flavor" contest where everyone posts their favorite. Something like that might give you some good market research as to where to go from here. I've also seen a "design a new flavor" type of contest too, same idea.

Good luck. When my stash runs down a bit I'll be looking at one of those fruit samplers.

Ctor, you are correct. We wanted to have better instead of more. We do have many other flavors that we are still developing, but we are not just doing the "splash and go" with the flavors just to have a lot of them.

We are starting our first contest at some point this evening, and plan on running some type of contest regularly so the members can give us a try. We will vary the type of contest we do so that we can get your feedback and you can get free e liquid. We like the idea of having a "design a flavor and we name it after you" type contest, but that will probably be after we get to know the members better and we can more people involved. We truly appreciate everyone's contributions and ideas for the future.
