how long have you been at it? I smoked 6 cigs a day, at very specific times, nothing like 3 packs a day but I couldnt stop nontheless. I have a compulsive personality I guess. Anyways, its been good for me. I've been tapering off. Right now I'm at 0mg but nothing beats a real cig, ive thought that since day 1. But I want to quit which is why i dont smoke, and I use my nicotine juice only to get my self off the edge when im ready to go out and buy a pack.

Thanks for the encouragement.

I smoked from when I was thirteen until my early thirties. Quit for fourteen years when my daughter was born. I was off Marlboros for fourteen years. I was prescribed a high dose of a steroid called prednisone and started back. That was in 2002.
A friend gave me a vape and I started using it. Immediately dropped to a half pack a day then down to two to three cigarettes per day. I could not find my smokes one morning and just quit looking.

I like the vape more than the real thing. My learning curve is steep an I am upgrading equipment on a weekly basis. I just bought a Kayfun Lite tank and like it. I am looking for a regulated mod to go sub ohm.

Yall have a great day.

Nothing short of inspirational. Congratulations and welcome home!

If you're looking to regulate a kayfun with moderate subohming, can't go wrong with a DNA30, or a IPV2 on the cheap.

We quit for the people we love, including ourselves!

Welcome to the forums and congrats on 4 days free!!!

When i started i was a pack and half a day smoker...started with the blus and dropped to 1/2 pack a day...got some cheap ego style batteries and and T2 tanks i think and kept at 1/2 pack a day(probably 2 or 3 months at 1/2 pack a day) till on june 19 2013 i had 1 cig left in my pack when i got home from work...said screw it after i smoke this one, lets see how long i can go without buying any....that was almost a year and a half ago now :)

Currently I use an REO mod LP with a RM2 atomizer....love it :)

Two packs to zip and gained 20 pounds.

Same here. Two packs a day to nothing. Been 7 months for me. I was already at the age where it's hard to keep the weight around the midsection in check, and now I go and gain weight from all the yummy food that I had been unable to taste before I quit smoking.

Congrats on the quitting and keep it up. It only gets better.

Agreed. Nothing beats sparking up a throat-ripper. Unfortunately!

This is what it's all about. I wouldn't necessarily say vaping is an easy way to quit smoking... Vaping on good equipment and with the right migs is the easiest way to quit...

Good luck in your journey!

As for my path, I started with the eGo-like and moved to a couple mech mods with either an Aerotank or Plume Veil RDA, depending on which build I pick up that day.
