Well spotted scylla,
I see their given reason is :rolleyes:meaningless.
For me, I expect I'll be missing all those bargains 8-o that I would have spotted on eBay 'cause I'll be searching for the fluid and vapers elsewhere.
Maybe I'll give the wholesale china site a try if this is the begining of a stealthy uk ban.

Over 6 weeks now tobacco free

Probably just natural progression of the PayPal ban on ecig businesses, I hope those retailers using PayPal as their only payment option are busy installing credit card servers before they get cut off

Andy
I use paypal and have had no correspondence from them regarding a ban. In fact Ive just won a dispute over an order from China, so for now everything seems OK
I know they own ebay and its may be just a matter of time before they do ban it.
Do you have any links to this policy.

Ludo from Janty discussed this a few months back, it is why Janty do not use PayPal checkout, but ask for buyers to make a manual paypal payment. The section in question is

  6. involve gambling, gaming and/or any other activity with an entry fee and a prize, including, but not limited to casino games, sports betting, horse or greyhound racing, lottery tickets, other ventures that facilitate gambling, games of skill (whether or not it is legally defined as a lottery) and sweepstakes unless the operator has obtained prior approval from PayPal and the operator and customers are located exclusively in jurisdictions where such activities are permitted by law.
The discussion had been sparked by credit card merchants suddenly revoking accounts of e-cig sellers.

Hi,

The ban is published here: http: //www2.ebay.com/aw/uk/200905261817582.html (you will have to remove the space in the URL as I am too new to post URLS! Boohoo.

The policy changes to selling e-cigarettes applies to all products and related components - there are hundreds of people likely to be affected as e-cigs are big business on ebay.

I have just had to look at changing my processor, not that I was a massive fan of Paypal but its a pain to switch. Nochex allow people to sell e-cigarettes and actually offer a better rate which suprised me - they obviously don't see a problem with e-cigarettes!

Thought you might like to see the article.
