Hi to the forum,
I have been off the real fags since march…..yah
I love my Riva and ry4, have still not found a reliable cart but they have got better.

I have two questions:

1. What is the best cart for my riva, I am using the dual coils at the moment but they do not last very long.

2. Am I right in saying that Ebay does not permit the sale of E cigs……as I found this and wondered if Ebay had changed its policy.

Ebay does not monitor the e-cigs religiously, and people dont tattle as much about e-cig products.

Welcome to the forums. Start reading. I love my Riva. Wait til you try the Special Edition! Dual coils are my fav on the Riva. It you want them to last longer get the megas or clear cartos. They dont last as long because there are 2 coils making vapor instead of one. Its the attraction of the carto. Get regular cartos if you want them to last longer, but they wont give as much vapor or be as warm.

Carts are cartridges and go on atomizers. With Riva, typically a 510 atomizer and 510 cartridges. Most Riva kits come with atomizers and cartridges. And I recommend a drip tip on the atomizer for testing juices.

Cartomizers aka cartos are disposable combined cart + atomizer = cartomizer. These hold 2x or more juice than carts, need juice less often, provides a more consistent vaping experience. There is a bit of a learning curve for filling and sensing when more juice is needed. I can get 1 to sometime 2 weeks use out of a Boge cartomizer if I use thin (20% or less VG) light clear juices(light juices are less likely to leave carto-clogging flavoring sediment)

Boge 510 cartomizers are the best thing to use for your favorite thinner juices. I recommend the standard resistance while learning to use them. Then if you want, you could switch to the hotter Boge 2.0 ohm ones that also use battery charge faster.

People may tell you all kinds of exotic cartos, but most people use Boge.

How I fill Vapor4Life KR8 cartos and Boge 510 cartos (no tricks, filled as intended)

Pop out the soft cap with an unbent paperclip in the mouth hole, very careful not to catch stuffing or the wire loop.
Shake and open the eliquid
Hold a bit of tissue on the threaded end hole, tilt the carto, and add 18 drops per ml of capacity into the stuffing (Boges and most KR8 cartos are about 1ml).
Wait 15 seconds or so then see how many more drops the carto stuffing will soak in easily.
Clean up the threaded end, tilt open end down into tissue, puff into threaded end to clear air channel (Boges and the KR8 cartos I use have a defined center air channel and I want to see light through that)
Sop up any loose juice above the stuffing
Cap and let it settle - I lay it on different sides for 15-20 minutes to make sure every bit of stuffing gets damp so I won't singe the carto. if you use thicker juice than me (I use 20% Vg or less) then you may need to wait much longer.

While vaping, if the vapor gets a bit light or a bit dry or the carto is getting hotter than normal, I take the carto off the battery and add eliquid. I sometimes use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece on Boge and KR8 cartos (not to drip into since the juice would head for the central air channel)
