ECF Android App

Hi all dont know if you know this but the app people can get in the play store isnt working properly. The app opens the forums but generally thats as far as it goes. It will show you the forums and its threads but once you try to go into a tread thats it it dies and freezes. Cant open the thread, read or post in a thread. Just thought you should know the app isnt working properly. This is my main access to the forums when im out and about and would really like to be able to use it. The only other thing if i might ask, is there somewhere on the app that allows me to see my posts or subscribed threads? if not can that be added? Oh and before you ask the report bug window doesnt pop up to let anyone know this is happening.

that's probably a good thing. i spend so much time here as it is.....all i need is to have it on my phone too! yeesh! i'd never get anything done! oh wait...i don't now. ♥

Try tapatalk, there are no issues with this site right now. My PC I down at the moment so 90% of the time I use my phone or iPad to check the site. I hate my laptop lol

I've been having the same problem, Tj, started about a week or two ago. IIRC, the app is not directly related to ECF, so the staff here don't have anything to do with it development-wise (though I could be wrong there, I'm not sure)

One of these days I'll get tapatalk, but it's not high on my priority list since I hardly ever access the forums with my phone, anyway ;-)

I do about 98% of my internet on my phone. Tapatalk is the best thing out there.

The ECF android ap was handled by an outside source and I have contacted smokeyjoe about getting it updated. When a decision is made and there is new info we'll post a notice on the forum.

There used to be two mobile styles to choose from for Android users. One was functional and the other was horrid.

Now I can only use the horrid mobile style.

OldSoldier posted on another thread here that he's inactivated it temporarily until they can get it caught up with the recent forum upgrades. Apparently PM's were not working on that particular skin.
