ecf app problem

so I'm a new member, just got set up and decided the app is a whole lot more convenient then logging on thru the browser every time. I download the app, sign off in the browser, then try signing in on the app.
I use the same user name and password that I just made but it keeps telling me one or the other is invalid! I repeated this about ten times now and am wondering what the deal is?! anyone else have this happen to them?

Are you on a standalone app??

I'm using Tapatalk for all of my (supported) forums with no problems.

yes just the standalone straight from the play store, no tapatalk :/

Try logging on using the browser again. I'm guessing your user name/password is incorrect. NOT that you mistyped in the app, but rather when you signed up, you thought you entered "abcde" but you actually entered "abcdd". Happened to me before.

Anyway, you don't have to log off from the browser to use the app. You can have both logged on. Sometimes, it's easier to search or perform certain actions on the browser rather than the app.
