I would, but honestly they're pretty bad - I'm going to donate them to research instead.

I'd rather buy my friends and family a mid range device (and I do/have).

AH - I don't believe I am going to have to say this - BUT ECF "PIF" Thread . . .

Here's just a couple of links - Just in case "You" need them:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-please-read-first-post-rules-guidelines.html

Or . . .

Or . . .

BTW: Just remember to read the :rules: since there is this
"Cute Little Blue Bunny"

that runs around that thread trying to make sure people play nice . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

It has been about 3 Days since the Post count was at 9,574,739. It is now at about 9,582,243

So in 3 Day there has been 7,504 Posts. Or about 2,500 per day.

We Need 417,757 more Post to get to 10,000,000.

So at the Current rate of 2,500 Posts per day, that should take about 167 Days from today.

That would fall on about Friday, January 10th 2014 around Mid-Day...

If I stop posting you won't get there until the summer...

For me ECF is the Google of vaping and E-cigarettes. Currently when you type e-cigarette into the Google search box, ECF comes up as the 7th listing. Wikipedia is first and BluCigs is 3rd.

ECF is why I am now a non-smoker after 45 years of smoking cigarettes. The range, depth and quality of information available is unsurpassed anywhere else on the internet. The knowledge and willingness of the people who are members of this community to help newcomers is amazing. Having a searchable knowledge base is a great accomplishment, but it is the people who make ECF the success it is and will be in the future.

Thank you ECF.

Thank you ECF! I am just now after almost 10 months of just vaping can stay away from this site for a little bit :) I have been so addicted to this site and vaping since I began vaping exclusively. I tried vaping and smoking from last August until October and once I found this place and got a decent set up and some ideas on what to do to make it more, I have stalked this forum and read and read and read.....thank you ECF and all the folks here! I get asked all the time how do you know that and I always say ECF, read and learn. A lot will not take the time to do that, but it really is knowledge is king :)

I know what you mean.

I truly wish E-Cigs had been around when Mom was still alive. I think she'd have fallen in love with them despite the fact she was a 40+/-yr smoker. Plus, it'd made her more comfortable with less health problems and even more so, she would not have had to fight for breath b/c of the smoker's cough, lung problems from the cotton mill & sewing plants she worked in over the years in addition to working in the tobacco market where she & her husband at the time traveled the tobacco routes weighing the tobacco loads for various sellers to ensure the buyers for major tobacco companies weren't cheating the companies out of money, which they did quite often. It doesn't sound like much when being cheated 5 to 10 cents a lb on tobacco but when you're selling it in quantities of a few hundred to a few thousands of pounds it's a lot...

I think she'd have quit w/E-cigs.

I was browsing last night and happened upon another forum for vapers. I read, oh, maybe 20 posts. The profanity, sexually explicit comments etc. just turned me off. I am not a prude by any stretch of the imagination (well, maybe just a wee bit), but I was taught to be careful what I put in writing, especially on a public venue. It got me thinking about ECF and what a pleasant place this is. I do not like to be "moderated" and I don't agree with every rule, BUT I appreciate all the work done by the moderators here. There are times I would like to use a wordy dirt but I don't because I value my membership and do not want to jeopardize it with a stupid expletive. Nor do I wish to read about anyone's sexual exploits with our without vaping. For all those times I just tangle my fingers and bite my qwerty tongue to avoid telling someone to just "get over it", there are just as many times I realize how much I enjoy this troll free, spam free and flame free environment.

So, thank you admin and moderators for giving us a great place to learn and share. It is unusual in the forum world, IMO.

BTW, the forum I found was attached to a really good website so I was really surprised. I don't think it was moderated in any form.

I'd love to somehow find out how many people have reduced or quit analogs due to the support found here. I'm grateful for the help that I've gotten through the ECF too.

I know, for myself, I had/have a better chance of sticking with vaping by reading and participating on ECF. I consider all of you my support group, whether you all like it or not! :p

This place is great support and has helped keep from grabbing an analog. Absolutely true, no question, great place. NOW, for the downside? I have learned so much here that I just keep trying the things I have read about. New and different clearos, now thinking about DCT carto tank, maybe dripping, new and different batteries, new and different APVs of all sorts and sizes. New flavors. Omygosh, the new flavors! So, DH is wondering when and if the money will stop pouring out the computer and the resulting vapemail will stop.

Great place to quit smoking, great place to find new and shiny toys to buy. Guess every silver cloud has its grey lining, right? :) I really don't mind. In fact I really like it! Keep saying I will start a jar with the money I save from not smoking and use it for new toys. However, I keep ordering and there is no money in the jar. Oh well. Could be worse!

THANKS for the link to the 'current # of posts' and other interesting facts (grin). I found the ages of the ones with birthdays quite interesting too! We ECF members do cover all the different generations, don't we? I will have to PM 'rver', since hubby and I are also RVers (fulltime) in our retirement :) NancyB
