If this ever posts it took me about 20 minutes to do it. Problem started about 09:30 pm EST. If I don't get a 502 error it's taking forever for page loads to complete. (There is no server access while "forever" happens.) Sounds like another wave of the problems reported earlier today?

Irony at its best - got a 502 the first time loading this post. Seems to be working fine now, though. Either way, I'm sure the admins are aware of the issue and working on it.
Support is being contacted.

Sure makes one realize how much we take some things for granted. I sympathize with the admins. You guys work hard, we'll get past this!
It's actually been sluggish most of the day for me. Haven't been able to log on for the last hour till now.

after doing some Tracert testing between myself (not having issues) and a friend across the country (having major issues) today ..i'm beginning to think the issue lies in the hops between our ISP's and the ECF host server .. i hit a max of 98 ms in one hop .. she hit 111 and a few timeouts ..timeouts being in the Level13.net hops, which i had none of..
might bear some fruit if ECF requested tracert's of those having issue to zero in on the culprits

someone had told me that they hit a 50% packet loss on something through Los Angeles

I did a bunch of testing this afternoon and was able to send a ton of big ping packet to the servers, no issues and I'm going through Los Angeles. tracerts have all been normal. And I'm not experiencing any other routing issues to any other websites so my guess would be a web server software issue.
Mine seems to be doing better this morning. Last night and today it was terrible and it made me "sad".
What happened? Friday about 10:30 pm EST ECF just... died. Nothing would load - at all - and pings only produced 100% packet loss with "request timed out".
That was going on as early as 05:00 am EST - the last time I checked it. I was having no problems doing anything else internetty or accessing any other sites - but this one.

Apparently, and I'm just guessing here, that whatever the problem has been lately, they are having a problem getting a handle on it.
routing from here in the s.e. corner is getting page errors, and slow load times as well..
