ECF supporter PayPal scam

Because it has nothing to do with my subscription. The conclusion is reached by looking at the link before clicking on it and noticing, it's not a valid link to PayPal.

Never click on links, if you think they are valid, go to the website directly by typing in the address yourself.

Very good advice and no doubt something to be wary of, but i'm still a little unclear on how that means that there is a list of ECF supporters rather than just a bogus Paypal site.

Sorry all, false alarm.

I just got home and opened the email on my pc and it looks fine. Ran it through a url exploder and it's a valid link. The mail client on my mobile rendered the link with some odd characters, hence I thought is was suspicious.


Apologies to the mods if you started runnuning this down, didn't mean to waste your time.

Luckily it was a false alarm,but you brought up a great point.I never click on a link through paypal emails,because the thieves are getting very good at making it look legit.If i think there is an issue,i will go to paypal directly,that way i know i'm not clicking a bad link.
