Hi. First thing in the morning my ecig tastes great, gives the desired kick and sounds as it should.

After I've had about 6/7 big drags the taste diminishes and the output is minimized.

The taste is what seems to be the heating element (?) rather than the liquid, and no nicotine is released.

There is no kick on the throat either, just a foul taste.

I put it down for half hour or so, then the thing works fine again, until I've had a similar amount.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I've changed liquids and tanks numerous times but to no avail.

I'm using a Debang Stix ecig, standard consumables tanks from the local merchant and Hanseng liquids. The ecig is always fully charged.

It feels almost as if there is a lack of power to dispense the liquid at the rate I'm going for.

I take 2-3 second long slow drags.

Do I need a better ecig?

Thanks for your advice in advance.

Yes..you need a better e-cig (or a better tank).

What you are using is a most probably a CE4 top coil clearo (since that's what Debang sell, mostly) on an eGO.

If the battery seems OK, then get yourself a nice new clearomiser.

Clearomizers

At least Debang aren't ripping people off anymore, which was how they got started in the business, and why their name is mud.

I invested in a nice big tank and new battery.

I tried different combinations and it boils down to the smaller tank I believe. The bigger one tastes loads better and doesn't dry up.

Well done.

It's got nothing to do with the size of the tank, by the way..... What you had is just old and not very good.

What have you gone for? :)

Dj, I now have a adjustable 950mh battery and a vivi nova tank. I know it doesn't make sense what i say about the tank size, but in my case the switch to the nova fixed the problem as i tried the existing smaller tank with the new battery and had the same issue. It was a brand new tank too. 4 drags and then it tasted awful. Maybe poor quality tanks. I don't know, but problem is now fixed :).

is it an Aspire Vivi Nova or an old Vision one with 2 long wicks?

The problem you had with your original tank was a problem I had when they first became popular and generally on sale around the place. It probably wasn't bad quality (I've vaped on 87p ones!) just a bad design.
