I've been vaping for about a year and half and have had a few tanks and mods so I'm not new at it. Today I bought kanger techs new pro tank 4, and the tank seems to get very hot. It's a .5 ohm in it right now, and I'm using it at 65 watts. Any lower and it doesn't hit very fast, and any higher I seem to get juice in my mouth. Is this a factory defect or am I possibly doing something wrong ? Thanks

65 watts seems rather high, putting that much power to the tank will def heat it up. Running it at 30-45 watts should give you a great vape. You may need another set-up to spread the heat around. Overusing or overheating a device will lead to other troubles. YMMV.
I have tried this, used it at 40 watts and it hits very slow and tiny, sorta say. Seems as if barley any power is getting to it. Any other suggestions ? Online it said a .5ohm should be used at about 60 watts

A search popped up this video in the first post. Haven't watched it yet.
Problem with Kanger Protank 4
Every device has it's limitations.
You may have found the PT 4's.
I fixed the problem. It was the factory coil, must have been defective. I changed it out and it's hitting much better and it's more responsive. Even at 40 watts. Thanks !
