They've been running here for quite a while. They're usually infomercials in the wee hours. They advertise those "free" e-cigs with the monthly commitment. Maybe they're getting the word out, but I wish they'd sell decent stuff at reasonable prices. I guess if they did they couldn't afford to pay for airtime though.
Ya they showed a guy vaping on it and blowing out a decent amount of vapor but knowing how advertising works it more than likely a cheaper model and the guys with the Big cash that can pay for air time will make a killing on it, its a shame that the ECF cant throw an ad on TV now that would really be super cool if they got up enough sponsors and did a 30sec slot, I bet the memberships and ECF memberships would fly high
I don't like them selling them this way. Lock people into some automatic charge and delivery scheme like everything sold on infomercials. Just getting inferior products out there fueling misinformation about the whole industry. Now I'll have to explain to a ton of people that the feedback from another bad product doesn't hold true for all ecigs. I think the advertising for ecigs has been misguided and led to problems for the community down the road. A user organized information campaign would be great.
I saw one during a War On Tobacco special on I think MSMBC. It was for Greensmoke. A website that sells a 140$ starter kit, and looks like a Trio 51 deal. Really wish "good" "respectable" vendors had the money for such ads.
The commercials I have seen are sold with 0 nicotine. I don't think they are allowed to advertise with nicotine. The commercials are what prompted me to research online.
I called one of the companies advertising on the radio just to see what was up. None of their products contain nicotine and the operator couldn't even tell me the model.
