Hello all.. I've learned a ton here and appreciate all the expertise. Quick question... is anyone else having trouble sleeping? I guess I'm a pretty heavy vaper,, my Elite is in my hand if I'm awake. Which lately, is about 20 hours a day. Nic stength in a lot of my juices is 18, some 12's, a few 24's though I've gotten rid of most of the 24's. Do I need to get something with 0 nic to vape at night?? I think between the coffee I drink and all the vaping it's no wonder I'm not sleeping. Just wonderin if anyone else is having this problem.:(

Nicotine will give you weird or vivid dreams, anyone who's gone on the patch can tell you that. As far as vaping keeping me awake, i think my prob at nite lays more w/ the fact that, unlike analogs, theres really no stop point. Analogs, you put em out n go to bed. My mod lasts alot longer than any analog has ever lasted. I guess i could try leaving my box out of my bedroom at bedtime, but tv is so much better when you have a pv! XD

+1,000 to horrific dreams on the patch... It was like Re-living the movie "The Cell" Scared the hell out of me!!

I try to take it easy on the higher nic levels a few hrs before bed as well. I'm night breed as it is and try to stop drinking soda because of the caff. in Coca-Cola for the same reason. I'm still working on that though... Ughhh.

I noticed the same insomnia thing...I had been vaping 24 mg non stop when I started this 5 months ago, and couldn't fall asleep. I dropped to 18 mg on my last few orders, and haven't had a problem now (well, sleep anyway, the ringing ears may make me crazy). Next month I am going to go down to 12 mg, with the goal of eventually getting to 0...not in a rush, though, I was a 2 pack a day smoker, and had been on the nic lozenges for years. Now I only vape, and LOVE it.

Plus you gotta remember that your only getting your nic. craving. Not your other 3,000 + chemicals your body has been addicted to that's in analogs. So if you don't vape enough when you first quit stinkies... You'll just want a cig. Part of it is also weening yourself off the rocket fuel and rat poison too! lol

You could try some over the counter astragalus root and melatonin if lower nic. levels don't help. That stuff works miracles for me when I get crazy Insomnia. Way safer them taking Tylenol PM to crash out.

When i was waiting for an order one day i waited for about a week and had nothing to vape on, i had some nico patches but that didnt cut it really, anyway when i went to bed i slept like a baby but as soon as i started vaping again i didnt get to sleep as fast.... its all to do with the nicotine, keeps you awake, bit like caffeine.

I never noticed any deviation from my normal sleeping routine. I work a lot and cycle (go to gym if weather is bad). When it's about 7am, and my night is finished, I shower, put the Amish fireplace on, watch Through the Wormhole dvds and vape about 20 puffs.. half hour later out. Can't sleep on the weekends though, but that's cuz my dog won't stay on her dog bed while my girlfriend's dog is sleeping over. I don't mind durin' the week cuz it's just me and the one dog.. but the weekends it's two people, two 60lbs dogs on a queen sized bed.. doesn't work. One afternoon I woke up at the foot of the bed and both dogs were cuddled up in my spot..I don't know how it happened. they just simply won't stay on the dog bed, haha.
