Hello, I am brand new to diy and am still waiting for my flavors and nic. I haven't tried Ect0Plasma due to its price but have heard really good reviews on it and so I want to try a clone. Even though I will not be able to compare it. Maybe my ignorance will be bliss. lol
Anyway, I came upon a flavoring site in Canada which had a recipe section and one of the tabs was called "EctoPlasmic". This is what it reads when clicked upon.

FW- Ectocooler---10%
FW-Mountain Dew---2%
TPA-Liquid Sweetner---4 drops per 10 ml
Now of course FW= Flavor West & TPA= The Flavor Apprentice.

From reading your thread it looks as though that the Mountain dew is what may be the key to the "missing lemon/lime" flavor in our discovery to Ecto Plasma.

Maybe give this a try......

I did another batch this morning since I didn't write down the numbers and couldn't answer your question...... I mixed 30 ml of 24 mg 75PG/25VG liquid with about 8 ml of nic free PG/VG, then added 5 ml of Flavor West EctoCooler flavoring and 8 drops of TPA Sweetener. I like strong flavors so I might end up adding a little bit more flavor but it is tasting yummy! Filled up my last empty 2 20 ml bottles with that stuff. I have an 8 oz bottle for EctoCooler flavor so that should keep me vaping Ecto for a LONG time to come...... LOL! (Without paying the prices for pre-mixed juice)......................:2c: :toast:

This sucks. I have no idea what EctoCooler tastes like and passed on it when I made my last several orders. I have a ton of flavors from just about everywhere, and now not having this flavor is driving me nuts. Glad you found what you were looking for, it's always nice when that happens.

its good i have this FW flavoring also.. and yes, it tastes just like what its named after..

and its not like the Monster energy flavor they have where it smells just like it and then when you vape it.. its just not right.. you dont have to do anything to this flavor to make it taste like what its named after., which is a good thing.. because its freakin delicious.

i would like to mess with the monster flavor though... i think i know what i should add to it but im not sure how it would mix and i dont have the flavor im thinking of..

I would like the create my own Ecto Plasma or Ectoplasm-type liquid, unfortunately, I don't have the faintest idea what's in that stuff. Lots of citrusy flavors, I think Lemon/Lime and probably some other stuff. Does anyone know how to make something similar to that?
Or you could by this and save yourself some hassle!:D

*snip useless commercial for a vendor juice in DIY section snip*

Looks good, cept we are in the DIY Recipe section of this forum. We want to mix our own liquids, not buy vendor juice. Nice commercial BTW. A+.

On that note, FW Ecto Cooler mixed with some lemon lime does emulate the JV Ectoplasma pretty well. I use the FW Ecto Cooler in many of my mixes and it is a good solid orange/tangerine flavor with a nice orange peelish aftertaste. I am pretty certain this flavor is used in many vendor's juices.

I would go with
10% FW ecto cooler
3% TPA lemon/lime
2% EM

End with 3 drops lemon juice. Maaaaybe a drop or 2 of sour if you have it.

edit you could pop this from 10% to 15% ecto if you want a bigger punch

here is a link for a kit that has everything you need:

Ecto Plasmic Kit 30ml

My above post actually comes from this same source. I tried it 100%VG and 70/30 PG/VG and don't like it either way. I am determined to try it again though. I think it may have just been kind of weak. I am going to try at a higher flavor percentage.

Just looking through this thread for some ideas. To be honest, I'm doubtful jv's ecto plasma has any ecto cooler. I've had ectoplasma straight mix fresh from the shop (after mixed 2 mins prior) and I assure you its a nice lemon lime with a definit mix of a bubble gum. The gum flavor disappears after a few days but is initially there.
