Hey guys! I have somthing I need to share with you all that has concerned me greatly, and frankly has left me feeling a bit used and violated. On June 22/2011, I was approached through PM on the ecf forum by Eguy telling me I do great reviews, and how he could go about getting me to do reviews for him. So after conversing, Eguy of eCultureStorewho sells his juice under the name eSteem eliquid, sent me for free, 4 samples of juice. Those included Killer Kool-Aid, Ry4, Canadian Classic and Creme De Menthe. So I tried those out and did my reviews here.

Not long after I did these reviews, I got a package in the mail from JuicyClear. The package has everything to try from his store, and just recently, I felt confused about somthing. I tried the Juicy Clear Creme De Menthe and it tasted just like Eculture's creme de menthe. Then just tonight, I tried his Canadian Classic as there wasn't much left in the bottle and I wanted to use the bottle to do some DIY..and I tried it on my Joker, and OMFG, this tasted exactly like Juicy Clear's Canadian Full Flavor!! I have been vaping Canadian full Flavor all week off and on, so this was no mistake. I then decided to try the Fury 4 Play, and remember talking to James not long ago that it had a woody undertone to it, and bam, this is the same as Eculture's eSteem juice in the RY4. Same with Grape Killer Kool-Aid, exact replica of Juicy clear's Grape Koolaid. I know James' JuicyClear eliquid like the back of my hand.

I called James at Juicy Clear tonight, to get the down low on what was going on. Needless to say, we had an excellent conversation and I told him about what had just happened here with Eculture Store and their eSteem elquid. It was confirmed to me tonight from James himself, that Eculture Store is a re seller of his. He then explained to me that he does allow some people to relabel his juice and knew that Eculture store was indeed relabelling, but most put on there that it is Juicy Clear, or they keep the same flavor name so people know it is Juicy clear. He did not know though, that eSteem eliquid was being passed to the public as an entirely new juice.

James agreed with me that this was VERY confusing to the public and has actually already changed JuicyClear rules to stop relabelling as he has found this to be a problem with other so called "new juice" companies. That is all fine, but what really pisses me off is that this guy from eculture store sent the juice to me to be reviewed and now I feel totally used and will second guess any juices i get in the future to review.

I am not one to be a beotch on the forums, but I am honest and I do tell it like it is. No one wants to rat out anyone. People need to be aware and warned when false information is being advertised. People need to be aware, who they are buying juice from. Tricking people into rebuying the same juice as Juicly Clear under another label is exactly what Eculture store has done. And this is a very very big mistake made on Eculture Store's part. You were caught. Think again before using me to do your dirty work.

I should have listened to Concat when he said and I quote

"Interesting how a lot of their juices seem to be the same flavors
as Juicy Clear... like literally every one has a Juicy Clear equivilent.

Never heard of Esteem liquid though. Hopefully they aren't
reselling Dekang (maybe they are reselling JC? haha)

What size bottles are they selling? It doesn't even say... or maybe
I'm blind. I'm guessing 10 or 15 mL"

I don't know if I would call this a scam or not though . In the retail market I have seen products with different brand names that are all made by the same company . Re branding is common and I don't see the harm is promoting your re branded product that is done all the time on other products . Now with Juicy clear . I have bought ejuice that was sold as JC ejuice from other vendors . The flavors that where sold are not listed for sale to me on the JC site and I have bought JC from other vendors in smaller sized than the 30ml JC sells to the public . So there is their wholesale part of their business and the retail part of their business which is their web site . I am sure I have bought lower nic level re branded JC ejuice from a web site that I know uses JC ejuice and maybe also other sellers ejuice . So is that bad or not I am not sure but I have not gotten any bad ejuice yet . Did they claim to have made the ejuice is what matters I guess not just is it good or bad for review . It would be unethical for them to say they made it but not if they just say this is the ejuice we sell .

cheers
Many many venders resell juice that has been relabeled as their own brand, many venders also change the juice as well. Several resellers also have better customer service than some of the suppliers that they get their juice from. As you continue on your vape journey and gain more experience with different juices you'll come to realize which juices are from certain suppliers and which juices use certain flavoring companies. Good juice is good juice, as long as the service is good who cares where it comes from, though you may find it a tad pricer through a reseller but usually it's a minimal difference.

I completely agree with this, Danes. Vendors should be much more true and specific about their business, its a good thing after all, and something everyone would benefit from. Great to hear that its the same Creme D Menthe as Juicy Clear, I was about to order just to clear any doubts, but now that you assure its the same thing, I can save a few bucks. Anyhow, I wouldnt be so hard on Eguy, but just try to make him understand that people might feel ripped off by getting something labeled as something different.

So cheers Danes, I appreciate your reviews so keep doing them.

I don't care if he wants to resell JC, but if I specifically ask him if it's JC, he shouldn't have told me he's never heard of them...

I didn't see a problem with what Dansenpits said he did (companies rebrand stuff all the time), but this is pretty damn disturbing. If he's willing to lie about that, who knows what else he is lying about? Is his hardware actually genuine Joye stuff, or cheap knockoffs? It's not like we can ask him and expect an honest answer.

I won't be doing business with this guy.

lol who cares its a new juice vendor and they are selling jc and gave u free samples , u are still reviewing the juice from that vendor it just happens that its the same as jc , not a scam at all , many new vendors post that they are a new canadian e-juice vendor and they just bulk order dekang from china and re sell it , at least he is supplying canadian made juices it really irrelevant where he has gotten the juice that he is selling and your still being asked to give an honest review on his product
even if he is a re seller ,

I just wish all sellers would state where the hell their juice is made.

The fact that JC is allowing rebranding is up to them. I don't take issue with that at all. It does make it difficult to figure out who the truly new players are though, and who's just reselling Dekang or JC.

If a vendor just has a list of juices and nothing about where they are made, it's a pass for me.
