I know right... I saw that one too, made me angry. Sad thing is someone will buy it. or someone already did? didnt check
yep its totally rediculous considering that they will be produced again very soon....the person has been selling all his items regardless what it is, overpriced 
worst part about it, the guy said he's buying, trying and then selling.....he's all in it for the profit
I've noticed this with a few - the price is double the set price with a comment like, "My fingers are too big for it" (re:Ody) or whatever. I mean. If it's a spade, at least be a spade. "I bought this to resell because I knew people would pay double for it." It irritates me on behalf of the maker and the resellers, but here's the thing. The seller has something other people want and can't get via the resellers. If the others are willing to pay that because they really want it, then that's between them. Personally, I just won't do it. And, on the positive site, part of the appeal of buying GGs is that you know that if you don't like it, someone else will love it and you can sell it easily. For even more than you paid for it! To be honest, I wouldn't feel good about doing that - selling it for more than I paid - but most often, getting that "ethical" feeling isn't materially profitable. For the $ driven, profit is their ethical code, so... there we are. And if that were me, I'd buy a bunch of whatever and sell them on the classifieds.
yep but for someone that does it specifically like that to make a profit, regardless if they tried it first, they're resellers themselves...its like being an unregistered supplier, which there are rules against.
Due to my status on the GG Sub I cannot post what I actually think about profiteering. But you all know where I stand on it!!!

No, Shaitaan. It's completely square practice. The extra cost is a punitive tax to make up for the emotional and psychological distress incurred by first handling and then being forced to part with a GG product.

Odysseus: $135
$365 + whatever taxes one could have to pay (here it would bring the total up to about $380)...no shipping(cant as we have to pay when buying anywhere anyways) and a small PP fee...Price is obviously very normal,just no depreciation taken into account and as mentioned,a little departing tax of what,$20 added?

You are looking at the wrong posting. The one being discussed here is Ody $250 and if you want the expansion it is $370
I sold one of my oddy for a higher price. I did not want to sell it but that was the price that was offered up to get one. I did not advertise to sell it at a higher price. But I agree with u guys.

Well I just sold an immaculate SSGGTS & Ody for $400 because I had to unfortunately and at that price with paypals exchange rates I'm not making a profit. I believe it would be an insult to Imeo and the resellers to profiteer on a stock shortage, if someone needs to sell one for whatever reason great but please don't price gouge. I mean seriously $250 for a Ody without the kit is ridiculous and hopefully it'll sit at that price until hell freezes over 
I have seen it too, and I bit my tongue. All I could think was 240 bucks?!?!?!?! And then I see this thread. I am very happy that I waited as long as I did to purchase my GG from a very trusted friend. It was used and I only paid 200 for it. I love it and there is no way in heck that I will ever sell it unless it is an absolute Dire Emergency, and I will take out a loan before parting with my GG. It took me six months to rack up the guts and the cash to commit to it, and now I am very happy I did. Now all I need to do is get an Ody to put on top of it, but with the outrageous prices folks are selling them for on the classies I can and will wait until they are available again or a close friend gets ahold of one they wish to part with. Either way I not only Can wait, I have to. LOL
I am very happy that this group keeps such a close eye on things and I am not the only one who noticed that.
I will bump a GG in a heartbeat on the classies, provided it is being sold at a fair price.
