efast 18650 battery questions

Im relatively new to the li_mr type battery. I just bought 2 efest 18650s with a new efest soda charger. How long should I leave these on out of the package? My meter is broken and I wont have a new one by monday so I have no way of gauging the voltage.

The soda charger will/should stop charging when the batteries are at full charge. The charging duration will vary depending on how discharged the battery is and the capacity of the battery.

I'm not quite sure what your question is. Are you asking how long they should be left on the charger? Or how long they should be used in your mod?

Your charger should indicate when the batteries are fully charged by the red lights becoming green. A fully charged battery will be 4.2 volts. It's recommended to remove batteries from any charger as soon as the battery is fully charged. Review of the Efest Soda Charger

You should remove and recharge your battery from your mod when the battery voltage drops to 3.4 volts. Since you don't have a battery voltage tester currently, try to make note of when your vapor falls noticeably off. Over discharging a battery can be bad news.

Alright thanks guys. It ended up taking about 7 hours before the green light popped on..but ill tell ya what these things kick hard, its awesome.

That's a pretty long time for those batteries to charge.

I have a soda charger that I used before getting my nitecore4. If I remember right, it took longer on the first charge of newer batteries than after. Seemed to charge pretty fast after initial charge. Batteries always tested at 4.17 or 4.18 with multimeter after coming off.

Not quite sure since my Efest Soda is at home but I seem to remember there's a charge rate (slow/fast 0.5/1.0Ah switch somewhere. Maybe you want to use that on the first charge.

Yeah I was told to leave it at 0.5 due to the quick charge setting cutting the life of the batteries.
