i got some LorAnn's Eggnog and knew from reading on here that it wouldnt be a good flavor by itself. Too much nutmeg etc etc..So here is my first right from scratch..i wanted very bold flavors as i want to mix this and make other recipes with eggnog..here it is

mixed 70/30 PG/VG

start 60mg
target 24mg
final amount 10ml

4 ml 80 drops 40% 60mg Nic juice
.2 ml 4 drops 2% PG
3 ml 60 drops 30% VG
1.5 ml 30 drops 15% LorAnn ButterRum
1 ml 20 drops 10% LorAnn Eggnog
.3 ml 6 drops 3% FA Marshmallow

first initial vapes...
i never let it steep, vaped after an hour of mixing - vapable right away
tastes like eggnog with a hint of spices
could use more sweetner(YMMV, i like very sweet juices) at this point
could maybe use some bavarian cream or cream of sorts..

will let it steep for a few days then try it...its going to be hard because it smells sooooo goood..lol

Just tried it again with almost the exact recipe above and it much better . I like it . I think the first time the problem was i used eggnog in a close but higher percentage then the butterrum .

This time i did

15% lor butter rum
10% Capella eggnog
2% Capella Marshmallow
2% Lorann Bavarian creme
1.5% Capella French Vanilla
.75% EM

Tons of flavor in there . This is the only recipe iv ever gone over 20% total but its really good . No more nastynutmeg . I also tried something else out . I mixed all the flavors in a glass vile and microwaved for 10 seconds .I then put the pg/vg in and microwaved for a additional 5 seconds ,then i added the nic . I let it cool then transfered it to a dropper bottle . Seemed to help meld the flavors a lot more .

I like that you included the ml, drop, and percentage. Every person does DIY differently.

The only reason id never go with drops is because theres two brands there so 1 dropper is going to be usually drastically different in dropsper ml than another .Not only that but flavorings come in different bottles where the drops per ml is also different .Another thing was he didnt write a drop per ml so it can mean anything on top of 10+ other variables . There would be absolutely no possible way of being accurate .Sometimes it can vary up to 10-15 drops which will result in a completely different recipe . I have tpa bottles that are 20 DPML and another bottle which is 38DPML and its the same flavor just different bottle .Putting 30 drops of butter rum when its supposed to be 15 drops would result in dumping down the sink .

i use the same dropper for all my flavors, nic,vg pg...yah i know the viscosity is different on them..but after awhile, you watch the drips..you know when a drop of one liquid is bigger than another so the thinner ones i adjust up a little bit..a few drops more..seems to work, but i am not selling it so if the flavors are close to the last time, i am good with that.. :)

True. Completely understand. I have a few different droppers. The dropper used for my PG based NIC and VG measures out to 40NIC and 30VG. The dropper used for flavoring is much smaller and measures out to 55.

The only time i go by drops is if im making a small 3ml bottle and using the same bottles . I got these 1ml syringes with lots of graduations on ebay .It was 20 for like 1.50 . I bought 100 of them and have one for each flavor labeled on each syringe . Best thing iv bought for diy so far . I also got 14g blunt tip needles for 10 cents each at HC so i have hundreds of them too .

IMHO, 28% total flavor is way too much.

You should vape some unflavore liquid for a while and give your taste buds a break :)
True that these molucules are considered safe, but as every other chemicals, they have a maximus dosage, after which, they may start to cause problems.
Here in italy, (where FA's flavors are made) we use average of 3% with peaks at 10%, which is still 1/3 of what you using.
I tried some of Lorann's ultraflavors (butterscotch marshmallow, cheesecake) and and at 0.5% they were already too strong.
Just my 2 cents.

I thinks its because we are in america . Land of lots of fat and flavor lol .I likes my greasy foods . Europe is usually the opposite . Lorann marshmallow at below 5% i wasnt able to taste at all . Tasted like PG . I know when im using too much flavor when it starts to taste like less flavor . Eggnog is really thick so it needs lots of flavor . It also needs lots of butterrum to change the eggnogs strange nutmeg taste . The recipe as is does work though and tastes great .
