Ego 2.5ml tank!

The new Ego 2.5ml tank is one slick little thing, I do not use dual coils so I yanked it out and put a little Boge 2.0 in, fits perfect. It really fits the Ego batts great.

I almost forgot to mention, your regualr DC cartos with the skirting will not fit in these as the skirting for these are smaller and the cartos are shorter overall, but MV has the cartos for them.

So now that someone has one...
Does the tank thread onto the ego, or does it slip on like any other tank...or more to the point...slip OFF like the usual DCTs?
I like the idea of using other than the skirted cartos, i've been having gurgling issues with most of the 20 I've purchased recently.

I have not had any slipping issues with it. There are no threads on the tank itself, the threads are only on the carto. The tank skirting, the way it is designed, kind of sits on top of the battery when using a non skirted carto. HTH If you have any more questions about it just ask

Yeah you probably don't need a carto with a skirt at all..with it screwed on an eGo it can't go down further. I use CE2's that I slotted with SmokTech tanks really the tanks stay in place pretty good unless you pull or twist them with some force.

I had one come apart once but it was my fault..it was stuck at one end and I was trying to move it I forced it pretty hard spilling 1ml or so of juice. Without any skirt I screw and unscrew them on my batteries all the time from the tank and as long as you're careful the tank doesn't move.

I ordered one of these, does anyone know what they are made out of? I would hate for it to crack, should be arriving tomorrow with my new charger, I miss my APV..

Thanks, for the reply, I guess I will just have to be careful. I have Vapor Vixens Mahalo Mama in there now, keeping my fingers crossed till tomorrow. Now all I have to do is address the lousy wicking issues I'm having with a dremel after this tank is done.. Huge fail with 1 hole and 3 hole cartos Smoktech.. Can't just do 2 like everyone else..

These 2.5ml tanks fit great on the new style lavatube also with no adapter. It looks really great. Like its meant to be there.

I just got mine and I'm really happy with it. Doesn't seem to leak at all, even when you pull up the tank to refill. And, oddly, I really like the plastic. It looks and feels really similar to the tubes on the phoenix where it's glossy on the outside but the inside of the tube is frosted.
