eGo 900 MAh battery problem

I received 2 eGo 900 MAh batteries in the mail from Healthcabin last Thursday. One of them is working very well and giving me 6-8 hours on a charge. The other is only giving me an hour and this is after charging overnight.

I am using the same charger (got it with my batteries on Thursday) and USB port on both batteries so I suspect that the one battery might be defective. What will it take for me to get a replacement and how long is it going to take? The "Shipping and Returns" page on the site has plenty of shipping info but no return info.

Glad to hear it! Maybe there was some issue the first few times it charged either with battery or charger, with one or the other misreading whether it had gotten a full charge or not.

I would still get at least have at least two eGo chargers on hand in case one goes bad. Also better to charge with AC adapter and use computer USB only in a pinch. I'm not a techie but I've had problems doing that with either charger not working or USB port not working plus it's alot cheaper burning up an adapter than it is a computer USB port that is not necessarily built for that kind of load. Just spitballing here, I don't actually know that. :)

Matt, I think, I'm almost sure in fact, that with lithium ion batteries that is not necessary. That is what you used to have to to with NiCad and NiMH batteries. Someone sent me a very techie link about that when I asked this about my first 510 kit which had that old advice on it. For these as soon as the green light goes on they are good to go no matter what the old school manual might say.

I tell you what I did to one. Just for fun, not because I think you did anything to yours, just a funny story.

I was messing around rinsing an atty or something one time and PUT THE DANG BATTERY under the water stream! AHHHHHH! I freaked out, dried it with a towel, shook it until I could get as much water out as I could. Pushed the button and the thing blinked and blinked and blinked for hours until it blinked no more. Put it in a glass jar in case it turned into a lithium torch .... Thought for sure I had toasted it but good. Once it was dry and recharged though, it works just like the others now. Go figure. Anyway I'm glad yours is okay now!

I had 1 dead battery and atomizer within the first month (Sept) of purchasing from healthcabin. I did the replacement thing sent back dead battery and atty. Its been over a 1.5 months and still no replacement!! And JUST NOW my 2nd battery is dead! Plugged in just keeps blinking and the USB stays green?? I'm just wondering if we in America are getting class b or second rate kits as opposed to Chinese orders ? So now I'm back to analogs! ....... I'm getting a mod. And I kept getting the "we havent received your bad part etc". I GIVE UP!
