ego and 510 parts interchangeable?

Hi. I originally bought a 510 kit. But a battery was defective so the company is sending me an ego battery of the same voltage. Does that mean that 510 and ego parts are interchangeable? In other words, can I continue to use my cartomizers. My clearorizer? I notice there are special ones for egos. How compatible are the parts?

egos use a 510 connection, they're compatible.

The ego has two ways to connect.

An inner connection which is a 510 and then outer threads that can hold a cone or for certain clearomizers, etc.
