OH wow, only a 200mah charger?? That will take quite some time to charge.. :( As far as battery life goes.. I used to carry 3-4 808D-1 batts with me everywhere I went and had to charge about every other day. I recently got an eGo and the difference really is night and day. I am finally able to leave with one PV in my pocket and not worry whether or not it's going to die. I've used the same batt for 3 days now and finally decided I should give it a charge. lol Nice to know I have something I can rely on as I'm sure you will feel the same. My batts are the regular 650mah so at 900, you should expect a great deal of use before hitting the charger. I would say with that low powered charger your best bet will be to throw it on when you go to bed and let it charge overnight. Hopefully it will be ready when you wake up.

I've had that exact system from Mad Vapes for over 2 months now with great results. High quality eGo style unit from smok Tech. Apparently very similar to a Riva. The little rubber button is the same as a Riva and makes it somewhat more water resistant. It has stood up to considerable abuse including being dropped in the toilet and down a flight steel stairs. It has 900 mAh battery so its longer-lasting than the standard eGo. Typically get about a day and a half of moderate vaping out of one battery. I wondered about the charger too as it states 200 mA. I think those are very conservative ratings as mine take from 2.5 to 3 hours on average to go from nearly dead to full charge. Based on these observations, its probably actually closer to being a 300 mA or more charger. I was satisfied with charge time so didn't make any actual current measurements.
I did have an issue with one type of atty not working on it but it also didn't work well on my buddy's Joye eGo. Just had to adjust the center conductor on the atty to make it go.

I also measured these batteries and found that they are true 3.7 volt units (or very close) when using a standard 3.0 ohm load. That was good enough proof for me so didn't bother with lower resistances.

Speaking as an engineer (my day job), I would have to say that this is a very solid PV that actually outperforms the standard Joye eGo in a couple of major areas.

I think it will work well for you. However, if you feel that it is not for you, I would think that Hoogie and Mad Vapes would make it right. They have a good reputation here.

I'm 100% satisfied with it now and plan on buying more stuff from Mad Vapes. They are close to my home state and the shipping is fast. It's giving me good TH and my flavors are coming through nice.So far one battery has lasted me all night and is still kicking .....So I give it a 10 just need ce2 or a map tank cause I really hate using filler being poly or the blue marine land foam.I just cant get that stuff to wick right. So then I'm getting a atty burn taste and the tips are full of juice.

Just a wild card suggestion. Buy a couple echo-e cartomizers for those 900mah puppies you have. For the average vaper they will provide you with all day satisfaction when combined with the large cap battery.

Wow I'm shocked Madvapes would sell the Riva as an eGo...However the Riva is a great PV better than the eGo only because I hate the eGos plastic button. IMHO. With the eGo/Riva you have to charge for 8 hours at first. At least that's what I've been told. I think the 5 blinks mean it's dead and needs to be charged. Try not to stress, charge and report back for more trouble shooting. Sorry for your luck.

eGo is not a brand, its not even a model, eGo describes the style of an PV. The brand is Joyetech, the model is the mAh rating, the style is eGo. like in automobiles, the brand is Ford or Mazda, the model is Escort or Protege, the style is coupe or sedan, they are the same thing until you get to the style difference.
If it says eGo it describes what it looks like, a cylindrical battery with a button on the top/side, designed to accept a cone for aesthetics with the 510 atomizer connection raised 1cm above the top of the battery.

I didn't call them because after giving it a fair chance I love it.I will try out several different carto's and see what works best for me.Just surfing the net now to find out the best prices on carto's.Still want a map tank though lol.I think I'm going to make one or two and see how they do.Thanks again for tips and info.

Nhaler has echo-e cartos for 3.00 each, a very good deal. Boge LR cartos are another great option. This is what I use exclusively on my Rivas and KGO high capacity batteries.

I have this unit and love it. The first battery charge lasted me over 3 days. I don't use the cone and run both batteries at once with different carto juice strengths. The cone just gets in the way of filling and keeping the threads clean.

Hope you continue to be happy with it, I'd like to know what you think in a few months. I hope they last.

It's a smoketech Ego clone. I've read that the threading is slightly different than the Joye and people have had problems gettting the attys to seat down far enough to make a good conection to the battery.

Yeah some of the cartos that came with it are some what difficult to get on.I eventually get them on though.

So, I also purchased this, and am clueless on how to fill the cartomizers. It didn't come with a "filling tool" (a syringe) and I would get lots of strange looks from local pharmacies if I asked for one. If you look at the picture of the kit it comes with a "drip tip" but I am buggered on how to use this thing without creating a HUGE mess... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I ordered an EGO-t but received the standard EGO. while i waited for the proper ego to be sent to me i tried the standard ego and did not like it at all. did not taste the flavors and general did poorly. i was worried because that was the first e-cig ive ever had. When i got the EGO-T it was 100 times better! better flavor and better vapor.

Hey Chevelle,

I was wondering about the voltage on these, thanks. So no matter what resistance load you put on it, it still should measure 3.7 volts output from the battery under load, correct?
