eGo batt & 510 atty

I have seen many post and web sites that mention using 510 attys on eGo batterys. All the photos that I have seen show the eGo batts with male threads and the 510 attys with male threads, in all of my 52 years I have never been able to screw male thread to male thread with out an adaptor of some kind. I'm i missing something, or have they come out with some new mechanical technolagy that I am unaware of?

Ego/Riva 510 batts have female threads and 510 atty's have male threads. Hope that helps and Welcome to ECF

I see said the blind newbe to the deaf man! On closer inspection my eGo mega batt has threads on the outside and on the inside that I had not noticed before , and the atty does have male threads. They are inside the cone so I did not see the threads
