They usually flash when they are about to go dead. How long ago did you buy it? V8P is right, contact the seller, for some reason it isn't keeping a charge. I may be wrong, but somewhere else (can't remember who said it), that the passthrough is just charging the batt while you are using it. I noticed that when it is plugged in, the charging light on the bottom lights up when I take a hit, and stays on for about 2 minutes. I guess recharging the batt from the slight drain from lighting up the coil, proving the theory.

Leave it plugged in for a few hours and see if that helps, it could be so discharged that it can't keep up with the vaping usage.

Easiest thing would be to get a replacement from the vendor.
