LR atty vrs EGO

i got my ego a few mounths ago. i love it. batt last 4 ever and hits clean every time.
not to mention the charging proses is qiuk.
here comes the problem. after having several 5v and up mods from cheep box mods to the buzz. 3.7 just doesnt do it for me any more. so came my lr attys for my 3.7 aka my ego.....
it was love from first vape. about a week after i got them i had a batt die on me. by dead i mean any atty on it and all i get is a blinking light. volt meeter on it and zero volts.....
get the pic its dead.
i figerd no big deal. its old i vape alot. so i get a new one to replace it.
my first one is going strong still till this day odd but true. so new batt full charge 3 days in to useing it and same same.... dead.... so i get onother one thinking its a "bad batt" things happen. well my nabore stops by (also a ego vapin guy ;-) i converted him).
he borrowd a few lr cartos of me and hung out for a bit. and he left. the next day he called me. "dude i thought my ego batt just went dead and thought i need to charge it so i pute it on the charger pute on a fresh batt and that one died. we lost 4 ego batts to lr in a weeks time. i here ppl talking about it here and there but not enuf. if i didnt have extra mods and PTs kickin around here he and i both would have been smoking wile we wait for our replacment batts. plz consider all off this b4 u go for a lr atty on ur ego. no matter how awsom the tast..... and DAM it it good......grrrrrrrr........

I use the LR on my Riva....hope it doesn't happen to mine...Sorry that happened as the batteries are pricey...

I've only used either lr 510 attys or lr 901 attys on my ego knockoff's. i've had them for a few months and use them quite a bit and have the visible wear. So far, knock on wood, still have my 2 cheapo ego's kickin'.

I'm knocking on wood, too, but I have been using LR atties exclusively for a couple of months with no issues. In the original post you mention LR atties and LR cartos. Have you had the same battery killing experience with both?

From what I have read, the LR attys amp draw is more than the batt switch/circuit can handle on the eGo's & 016s-- to address the issue, peeps have been going to the hi-drain batts as they are better designed to handle the amp draw from a LR atty.

I don't think ANY proprietary e-cig batts. come w/ a hi-drain option-- yet...
& then again SOME e-cig batts just last longer.YMMV

I have been using my eGo's with LR atties for over 6 months and have no problems. Where did you get the eGo's? There are some eGo's that are out there which aren't eGo's at all.
These are fake batts and I'm not saying you guys got any. I don't know where you got them, but if I were you, I'd be asking who these batts are made by..
Just a thought about that.. I know that its not too easy to notice, but the fakes aren't up to par and the batts don't hold up either to a lot of usage or even LR atties.
Please ask you vendor who makes these eGo's. There is a thread here and I just can't find it as to the fake eGo's.

I also want to ask if the light is the button itself? and what color is it? white or blue?
If it is blue, its made by Bauway most likely and they are known to not work after the first intial charge. Be careful.
Joye is the only one that has the true eGo.

I have a blue button from TV. I guess it's boge then.

what about Janty? didn't they design the eGo?

Yes, Janty designed the eGo and Joye manufactured the eGo for Janty.
If its NOT a Janty or Joye product (in terms of the eGo) its NOT an eGo..

i dont trust non joye products with my joye products. i would by a bently and shop for seat covers in wal mart

They make and sell the LR atomizers to be used on batteries with a higher mAh rating, not with the stock ego and 510 batts. People will buy joye LR attys and use them on their mods usually.

really? lr can onely be used on 3.7 v devises i belive. standard ego is 650 mah. most 3.7 mods run on 14500 witch have 900 mah or 16340/123a witch are 880 mah.
some of my ego batts are 1000 mah. are saying it would be safe to use a lr atty on my mega ego batts?
not that i would. just asking...............
