This video has been around for awhile.

But what I like about it is that it should be a Lesson to charge batteries in a Glass Pan or Pot.

Doesn't stop a Battery from Expoding, but does keep things like your desk from catching on fire.
Yeah its my video i just didnt know if anybody had seen it.

This is why I stress the use of lamp timers. I also lost a battery to overcharging. It wasn't me, but somebody I loaned it to who did it. Left it plugged into the laptop overnight, woke up to a mess the next morning. For $5, you get a timer that you set to say, 5 hours. After that time, there is no more power going to your charger. It can't explode from overcharging. It can't be any simpler.

Good idea.

I would just recommend that you get a lamp timer with the wheel o'little notches, and not the type with the slide thingys. I started out with one that did the sliding on/off things, and it wouldn't always turn off like it was supposed to. Used it for about 2 weeks before I got the one with the little notches/levers/switches that you push down. Been using one of those for over a year, never had a problem. So you can still overnight charge Contained, but you just need to do it safely :)

This is like the one I use. Has the power plug in the front instead of on the side like some, makes more room for the USB adapter.

You can get those little 110 - USB adapters pretty much anywhere for pretty cheap. I think most e-cig shops should carry them individually as well. They are standard USB connections, so pretty much any USB wall adapter should work.

AC to USB Charger Adapter is just an example of one that should work just fine. Never ordered from there but I know that they're dirt cheap, and that all the DIY'ers love that place.

Wow. I have never seen those lamp chargers. That is a great idea. I don't use Ego's but I charge my mod batteries overnight and I always hear that can be dangerous too. Great idea!!

I got one of these for my wifes curlers years ago. She's one of those wake up at 7:10 need to leave the house at 7:20 type of people so this saved her some time in the morning.

I do still tend to stay close by in order to occasionally check my batteries to see if they're getting hot. But, sometimes I forget.

Had heard about using a timer, but didn't know what kinds to get. Thank you!
