So, I work offshore and am away from civilization for weeks on end at times. I recently picked up an eGo kit and love it. I'm curious as to the life expectations of the batteries. I have two 900mHz that I trade out and just picked up a kit on sale with two more and an extra charger in it so that I have backups. I would hate for this whole thing to come tumbling down because I wasn't prepared and ran out of power!

So anyway, my question is this - what are the life expectations for these eGo 900mhz batteries? shelf life? should i keep these two additional batteries charged even if i'm not going to use them for three months?

any insight would be greatly appreciated!

If you let them sit 3 mo., the charge will go down. I would use them. I run the bats until they flash begging for the charger & 2 eGo bats. made over 1 yr. 4 mos. old. One from 1st kit is still running 1 year 8 mos. later- probably over 400 cycles!

Get a lot of attys like enough for 1 /wk.!

That sounds awesome - I have several boxes of boge's on the way!

currently puffing on some gnar gnar dakang usamix... which is better than the dakang dy4 batch i got, but it still ain't great. I can't believe how much I've invested so far in ecigs/accessories, but I think once I find a couple juices that I feel good stocking up on I'll be set, and in a few months my ecigs actually will be cheaper than my smoking! Already dodged 240-300 analogs and I can't put a price on that.

thanks, I was relieved to discover that johnson creek has a no questions asked (doesn't matter if the bottle's partially gone... and oh yeah, we'll pay for shipping) return policy. There juices were alright, and might be better once i get them into a boge, rather than a EMDCC, but I'd definitely purchased more than I needed (thinking that I was headed back offshore two days later).

Anyway, if you ever thought about trying any of their juices - their customer service is air tight. I am very impressed.

I have 3 -1000mah ego batts the misses has 3 no 4 ego of the same batts there all 6 months old and numbered in a rotating sequence for each of us and there 6 months old with never a problem to date.
I charge mine and so does she when the button light flashes as you cannot get a hit after that and move on to the next battery and put the spent one on charge.
