That is an OLD Ego T Upgrade (V1) from Joyetech iirc.
The V2 began to look like the early evics and Ismoka models.
Might be interested in this. Regulated variable wattage tube mod that accepts external 18650 batteries.
After some looking, it appears that when everyone under the sun began copying Joyetech's EGo, that a lot of them just soldered in small Li-ion batteries.

The Ego-T Upgrade was still a standard size Ego. The 'Upgrade' part just meant it had a micro USB charging port and had battery voltage output and constant output.
I would but i'd be ashamed to show it on here. Been using it for 6+ months now. Battery and all. Looking a little worse for wear. It's clean, just doesn't look great. Though, i just checked the batteries i do have. 1 shows 18650 on it and the others are the same size, so assume they're 18650 too. Will buy new ones, just in case they're knockoffs.

Sounds like you are using an EGo 18650.
If so, I recommend LG HG2 batteries.
The problem was that when you say "EGo battery" that describes the little tiny disposable ones that can be found in gas stations and such.
The 18650 EGo-T is an old device that never really made into the mainstream so many are not familiar with it.

I usually use a variation of-
EVOD 2 clearomizer
EVOD Glass clearomizer
T3D clearomizer
But may be changing that up soon. Should also add.. The coils i use are 1.8ohm. I like my kit to be as simplistic as possible. That why i've stuck with this for 3 years now. Don't like all that variable voltage etc... But i don't mind changing what coil another kit takes, like the few others have mentioned. As long as it's not to technical

Just look at the actor who was Luke Skywalker in movie one and two. HIS facial reconstruction left him looking WARTY. I mean, it's a wonder the whole franchise didn't collapse, well Harrison Ford explains it I guess but

It appears that he is using an old 18650 EGo-T Upgrade, same as the pic Izan posted.
I haven't seen one since 2011-2012, lol.
