so... I just saw this vid on youtube for the Ego Booster from artisanvaping.com
I'm in love! Even though I don't have my Ego tank in hand just yet... I'm not new to the ecig world all together.
What I'm wondering, is anyone here using the Ego Booster at all? I'm into it not only because you get the variable voltage option... but it's just another way to mod and improve on a system and that makes me happy anyway.
So, what can you tell me?

Wow! - At $75 - I'd just buy a 5 volt mod and be done with it if I thought I needed 5 volts that badly.

Kalamazoo Triple-V is 75 bucks. .. But then, the triple-v is bigger than the silver bullet. I can get on an airplane with a couple of eGo batts in my laptop bag. TSA would probably handcuff me, cavity search me, and have an air marshal shoot me a couple of times if I tried to get through security with my triple-v. So, even at 75 bucks, there might be a pretty good market for the eGo boosters.

I received the Ego Booster a little over a week ago, and still have somewhat mixed feelings about it. I was able to purchase for (only!) $59 ... not that $75 price mentioned above. The batt adjustment button swings VERY loosly on it; and there are no markings on it to show which volt you're using. Just by moving it from pocket to purse, that little wheel/button will move around.

Having said all that, it DOES intensify the amt of vapor significantly if kept button-wise to the left. I did not notice an increase in TH. All in all, I remain on the fence about it.

More voltage/watts = more heat = more TH :)

I bought a tiny 5 v box mod from MadVapes for less than $50 with everything I need. It works great, and I'm very happy with it. It's much smaller than a deck of playing cards and packs a lot of performance into something so small. My cartomizers are taller than it is if that gives you an idea. It works off of two 14,500 batteries.

I have one too. My 5.0v collection is growing, but though I'm probably going to eventually, I haven't started drinking the VV koolaid just yet.

I think there probably is a market for something like the ego booster. But, now I see that a VV eGo batt is coming, so unless it is ridiculously priced, the eGo booster might not have a chance to get any traction and develop much of a user base.

The VV Ego Pass Through is already here and sold out:

GotVapes eGO Variable Pass Through 510 - 3.2/3.7/4.2 BLACK [gv-egoPTVV-black] - $24.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

So far, I haven't seen a stand-alone EGO VV. I've also read somewhere that E-Power is coming out with a VV. I do know that strange things start happening at higher voltage (over 5 volts). You almost need high voltage juice, and I frankly don't see the advantage or why someone would spend all the extra money to simply have hotter vapor. I would only consider a VV Ego at up to 5 volts.
