So I received my Ego today and I did know to unscrew the atty while traveling thank goodness. But I looked down while roaming here on ECF and noticed that the white light was on. I thought ok thats weird. I gave it a little nudge and it went off and seems to be working correctly. I have no idea how long it was on and am thinking ok what if my atty was screwed in. Has anyone else had this problem?

I just got my Ego today. I'd like to hear more about this.
Vibration triggering is something inherent in auto bats but not manuals.

I'm a working bass player and made the mistake of going to my gig with a bunch of 510 auto bats. When I first noticed my mistake, I had laid my hardware on top of my amp and proceeded to play, all the while noticing the blue light was on...thinking of a 40 Mile Island or Chernobyl type nuclear melt-down....8-o

I have since switched to manual bats.

Hey Bassnut, I have had the same issues with my 401 auto batts firing up from high pressure soundwaves. I use my 808 manual or passthrough at my shows now with plenty of FOH power available. Or if i'm mixing digital, i like to be a smartass on the cutting edge and charge my ecig on my PM5D. I'm pretty sure the only one in the world to do this so far. You should see the WTF looks i get on that one. Haha

Vleath: I also had this problem with my eGo and was advised that if I just use my fingers or tweezers to turn the button counterclockwise, it will fix the sticking button issue. I tried it with tweezers (didn't have to grip it, just used the tip to turn the button) and now my eGo button never sticks.

Thanks for the tip, will try it if I get another eGo button sticking.

Ok what about stuck on? Like light doesnt come on unless you push the button....but screw an atty in and it's going until it's taken out?

any suggestions for that one?

I've got this issue, actually came one here to see if I couldn't find any info on it. My problem is the battery just goes and goes and goes without depressing the battery at all. I'm beginning to think it is my brand new attys that are causing it. I've only had 1 evo battery die (unable to charge) before this and in the matter of 2 days, have 1 dead battery and 1 that wont shut off due to this. The first one just crapped out completely, just burned itself out even with atty out. Kinda scared me, thought it would explode. The second one started doing the same thing, so I removed the atty as soon as I could. Light doesn't come on at all, but when I plug in the atty, it automatically powers the atty and will continue to do so until I unscrew it again. This is totally bogus. These have worked for soooo long but now they are dying left and right.

These happen to be TotallyWicked branded Tornado batteries using their 510 attys. What should I do? If getting a bad atty can actually kill my battery I'm thinking I might need a different device.

It's not the atty. Attys don't activate the bat exactly. It's the other way around but the atty is completing the circuit with your stuck button causing the light to go on. Is it already past the return policy date?
I've got 3 Tornado bats from them with the flat smoky-grey transparent button. No Problems (yet).
