Hello,

I month or so ago i bought an ego-c 650 mAh passthrough from you guys, and my girlfriend likes it so i want to get her one. I noticed you only have the ego-c upgrade in a 650 mAh passthrough. Are you going to restock the regular ego-c 650 passthroughs, or are all ego-c's going to be the upgrade model now?

Thanks!

Thank you for your asking.
Yes. All eGo C batteries and passthroughs wil be going to be the upgrade model when current ones are sold out.:)

I bought an Ego-C upgrade passthrough from another vendor and love it. You can switch between regulated 3.3 volts to 'unregulated' higher voltage that drops off as the battery drains. When it is fully charged, it performs like an ego twist at around 4.0 - 4.2 volts. Switching is as easy as turning it off (5 clicks) and holding the button until it switches to the other mode. Very nice.

I haven't used a non-upgrade ego battery aside from the Twist. (and some KGO batteries which I also liked). I also can't comment on Health Cabin's service since I haven't ordered from them (yet). just that the 'upgrade' is a nice model with a nice feature.

thanks for the info YetAnother. I'm not sure what the difference in voltage means for my vape, but extra features at the same price is always nice! I don't even drip or use a tank, i just vape plain ol 510 XXL cartomizers. I just really liked the 5-click on/off and battery level indicator with the standard ego-c. health cabin's service has been great for both of the order's i have placed with them. I plan on picking up at least one of these ugraded ego-c's and some DK juice from them soon :).

From what I understand, most Joye eGo batteries run at 3.3 volts and the Twist is variable from 3.2 to 4.8 volts. Those seem to stay close to the listed voltage until they die.

The 'Upgrade' runs at 3.3 in 'normal' mode, and goes to a high of 4.2 (ish) and lowers down towards 3 volts as the battery loses it's charge.

I forgot to mention that the LED on the Ego C Upgrade (in normal more) glows blue and will glow white when it gets low enough to need a charge. If you're in 'upgrade / unregulated' mode the LED stays yellow until it dies.

I found that when it's used as a passthrough as it recharges, it stays close to the 4 volt range in 'upgrade' mode'.

Higher voltage les you get a stronger 'vape' when you vape, It also lets you use a higher ohm rated atty or carto, which are supposed to have a longer shelf life until they die. If you use an LR (2.0 ohm) cartomizer, then at higher voltage you will have a stronger vaping experience. I love using a 2.0 ohm carto at 4.0 - 4.2 volts.
