Howdy people, I couldnt seem to post anywhere else in the forum except here so im terrible sorry if this is in the wrong place!

Bought a new Ego-c back up battery the other day, for £16 you cant beat them for a small handy vape. I also got an Iclear 16 clearomizer to go with it.

Now, I got home, set it up, got the e liquid in it as usual, vaped all day without a problem. I also used it for the best part of today, until the evening when strange things started to happen.

I un screwed the clearomizer so I could refill it (in case I dribbled some down the outside of the tank and onto the battery) and when I screwed it back onto the battery, it wouldnt fire. The button didnt light up, I tried 5 click to turn it on, nothing, tried holding the button down to turn it over to high voltage mode, nothing.

I took the clearomizer off the battery to see if the button would light up but again, it didnt. I had to plug it into the charger, leave it for a few seconds and then un plug it in order to get it to work again. Like jump starting a car!

The thing is, when I get it to work again, it works on my Esmart clearomizer and boge cartomizers but as soon as I put the Iclear onto the battery, the battery stops working completely and I have to go through that whole process of effectively jump starting the battery.

If anyone could shed some light on this situation I would greatly appreciate it.

Cheers, Matt :)

Hi!

You're talking about a little piece of mass-produced plastic. It couldn't possible have gone bad in two days! Don't you know each one of those is hand carved by the same old gentlemen that make those lovely scrimshaw thingys?

Welcome to the wonderful of vaping! My motto is buy cheap, buy in bulk and expect a high failure rate. And you did post in the right place, the New Members forum gets far more traffic than the other ones.
