Ego-C battery question

I just bought a couple generic 900mah ego-c batteries. I was told they'd use the same charging system as my 650's. When I screw them onto the charger, they blink 3 times (as usual) and the light on the charger turns red. All normal so far. But, after a second, the blue indicator light on the battery turns on and the red light on the charger starts blinking. I have tried both using the charger plugged into my computer and with the AC adapter. Same result. I've never had this happen before and I want to know if this normal before I return them as defective.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm, I would contact the vendor and ask what is going on and that you have a charging issue. bnrk

That was my first thought. Just didn't want to embarrass myself if it was normal with bigger batteries. I'll go back tomorrow. Thanks
