I used to use the ego tank LR B 's and I loved them. But I stopped using them due to cost. I then switched to the EMDCC and , but less frequently, the 510 dual coil cartos. Problem was I never really liked the taste of cartos. I missed the more pure flavor of an atty.

Then a few months ago I decided to retire my ego batteries which were in need of replacement for something that offered Higher voltage. Got the EVO and it broke way too easily. So I got the REV3 from 310vapers. I have absolutely loved this device. But The carto problem remained.
So I just bought the ego c tanks SR. Opened them today , put them on the REV at the low setting 4 volts, .....and burnt ,dry flavor. I put it on my old EGO batteries which again need to be replaced and the burnt flavor is gone, though it doesn't hit as good as I remember the LR tanks hitting.

So has anyone had any luck running the tanks at around 4 volts? Now I'm considering the egoTwist, but do you still need to keep the twist fairly low ? Or if I want to use the tanks should I just stick with a regular EGO battery and LR tanks?

I have the ego-c type b, and regularly run them at or above 4 volts on a twist, depending on the juice. I was vaping Black Cherry Dulcet and Vanilla Bourbon Bean from highbrow today, the cherry at around 4.2v and the vanilla at 4.5.

This is with the SR attys, which measure right at 2.2 ohms.

The flavor is amazing with good juices, and it hits pretty hard.

That's why I don't understand why it's running dry. I have read other people using the twist at 4, which is why I thought I would be fine with the REV3. And that's why I bought the SR, had I got them for an ego battery I would have got LR.
That's what I want them tHem to do, hit hard. To get some non burning I have to take a quick draw but it's not nearly enough. It's like the coil is running dry

I use my old Ego-C cone/atty/tank setup every once in a whle on my Provari. Usually when there's not enough of a juice to waste a carto on or fill a DCT.

Recently I've tried the above on my Ego Twists.

I gotta say, in both cases it rocked. Great flavor and nice clouds.

If you're referring to the DCT made just for Ego's, they come with a 1.5ohm dual coil carto. They work fine on the Twists but you have to "dial them in". With any fixed voltage device you're gonna be stuck with whatever it gives you.
