I have been looking for the specifications for the legitimate eGo-C Twist batteries specifically the 1100mAh model. I have not had much luck. Might someone out there have a website that lists the true specifications?

I have one battery which I think is legit. The letters on it are not bolded. The dot is directly to the left of the letters. It is 121 mm in length.

The other one I believe is a fake. The letters are bolded. The dot is below and to the left of the letters. It is 110 mm in length. The power button also remains lit after releasing it and has kind of a black tint to it.

Here are some pictures. The black one should be legit and the red one is a fake I think:

IN my opinion, neither are fake, they are just made by different manufacturers and every one has a "different spec".

If you mean a joyetech fake, probably.

ego-c twist batteries are a dime a dozen.. some even have knurled adjustment rings on the bottom, and you can actually read the numbers...

If it works, then it works, buy it again,if it seems to fail relatively quick, buy a different brand..

Its all a crap shoot anymore..

First, unless the vendor themselves don't know, there are no Joyetech eGo-c "1100"s. There are 650, 900 and 1000mAh Joye batts.

Second, the placement of the dot (which indicates where the voltage is) can vary. Likely 'dotted' after the electronics are added and calibrated.

The Joyetech 900 is 111mm and the 1000 is 121mm.

Some have the joyetech logo written out, although some joyetech vendors put their logo on the opposite side of 'eGo-c Twist'. Most have this on the end:

But again, some true joye vendors have their logo, eg. cignot has this symbol on the end of the batt:
