This from Wayne at heaven gifts who is in constant contact with joye and kanger techs....

"I am also using twist battery+tabacc, it's working well and there is no problem like the thread says, I guess that customer is using a copy twist battery. Joye tech have two different eGo threadings, one 5 threads another 7, both can fit the Tabacc BCC. However, some Tabacc cartomziers center connector may not well contact the center connector of Joye series batteries, it's easy to resolve this problem, you just need to use a small screwdriver or a bamboo skewer to wiggle the center connector of Tabacc BCC out of its rubber seat a little bit, so that it would become higher, then it can well contact the battery connector. joyetech don't have other eGo threadings, so it's not true that joyetech has changed the eGo threading."

There's another thread on this issue and I'm guessing it's either a Twist copy or a center post problem with the T3's....

This isn't the problem we're experiencing though. The Kanger T3 will work, but it doesn't completely screw down because of the extra threading resulting in a bad seal.

I just got some t3's in the mail today and none of them will even thread onto my ego c twist. It looks to me that the threads inside the t3 is much more of a course thread than what I see on my ego. I am going to pick up a 510 to ego adapter and see if that works. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Please let us know if it works.

I've just noticed a difference in threading on my T3s!!!
View attachment 169515

Felt like I was sucking in air with the T3 on the left when it was on my eGo Twist...

I ordered two [supposedly genuine] T3's and two replacement heads from a reputable ECF vendor - one of them fits my [genuine] Joyetech eGo batteries nicely, the other 3 have a gap at the bottom...the thickness of the gap is approximately the same height as one of the inner threads. I saw this picture and looked at the inside threading of my T3's and sure enough! The one that plays nicely has a different thread pattern - albeit slightly - from the others. *sigh*

Any suggestions on how to make these work? They do fire, but it really does suck in a ton of air.

I have joyetech eGo-c regular and twists (old and new) and don't have the problem. It looks like there is a difference in the T3 threading. It's never been Kanger's strong suit, even on the K8 batt. The threading of the T2's mouthpieces was crunchy at best.

I wonder why the threading in my ego c twist is different than the threading in my ego t then. (picture on first page) 5 vs 7

Wayne at heaven gifts said Joye has 5 on the t's and 7 on the c's but there has been no change in either - that's how it's always been. And the T3's fit on all my Joye eGo's earlier than the t's, the t's and the c's. Do you have the C logo on the bottom of your Twists? If so they are Joyes, if not they're knockoffs.

There's a C on the bottom of my twist with 3 separate lines insinuating it's twisting, lol. I wonder if it's the new T3s that were purchased then. I see a lot of posts where people are noticing issues with theirs. How recently have you purchased your T3s, Kent?

I've had them from the start from heaven gifts - months ago... and also bought some at Good Prophets - maybe 3 weeks ago. Recently got more T3's and the MT's from hg. So far all fit. If you have the C with the hash marks inside, then that's a Joye - well... as far as I know the knockoffs haven't been putting that on yet. And I'm certain that heaven gifts deal only with Joyetech on batts or anything eGo - part of the contract, I'm guessing.

Here's a picture of the threading difference.

View attachment 167287

My Spinner looks like the one on the left, my Twist looks like the one on the right. Like others are reporting in this thread some of my T3 replacement coils wouldn't fit the whole way on to my Twist, which made me sad. Luckily they all fit on my Spinner with no problems.

It's so close to being able to screw on the Twist. Makes me wish I had a little o-ring to close the gap.

This is exactly the same problem I'm having and why the thread was created. So you see a difference in the T3s then?

Absolutely! Don't get me wrong, I love the T3 BUT there is a huge difference between the one on the left which was purchased from one vendor and the two on the right which were purchased from another vendor.

I don't think you can limit this issue to certain vendors, tho, because the ones I got (1 fits the way it should, 3 don't) all came from the same vendor.

Probably different lot numbers. At these prices I would be amazed if the manufacturing process would hold to exact specs from run to run.

True. I was just very surprised at the threading difference BUT, like you said at these prices I'm sure they are not holding to exact specs!

Where did you order from?

Noctoru, Eric from Discount Vapers threw one in with my order for the USB VV Passthrough just in case I needed it! SO grateful that he did this for me, a totally new vaper, IT IS THE SOLUTION to the threading problem!!! It's giving me a perfect seal. I don't feel like I am sucking in air!!!

Adapter - 510 Battery to eGo Cartomizer
