I have no idea why it wouldn't work but does anyone know if the eGo-c setup (tank, cone, atty head & base) would work on a KGO battery? Or is there something different, albeit proprietary, about the eGo-c or -t battery that would prevent it from working the same? The KGO is an eGo form factor battery after all.

Are you having problems now with that set-up? They are both 510 threaded and so, there's nothing proprietary about either one of them. Perhaps the problem is the center pin since it might be to recessed to make a solid connection.
No. I have a kgo but at the time I made the purchase it was down to a choice between the two. I love my kgo but am still curious about the ego c. Was thinking about buying the setup but wanted to know if I would run into any problems.
Oh ok, you can just buy the atties, cone, and tank. You'll be fine and shouldn't run into any problems at all. What would work on an ego will work on your kgo basically. So, don't worry about that part. If you just wanna try it out then here's a little starter kit. Check it out:
