eGo cartos vs. 510 cartos

Does anyone have any experience with the eGo-sized cartomizers, like these?

Do they produce more vape, or about the same as a 510 carto? How about longevity? Do they vape any more juice before needing to be chucked? Is their only benefit holding more juice and refilling less often?

I really like disposable cartomizers (no atty maintenence) and don't mind refilling too much, but these cost a little more than the 510 cartos and if these had any advantages other than capacity they might be worth the extra cost (otherwise not IMHO).

I tried the eGo mega cartos and then ordered some regular 510s last week. So far the 510s are doing better as far as producing vapor with the refills. The megas were great on the first fill (lots of vapor, flavor, etc..), but really diminished after the 2nd refill.

I wish I had the 510s longer so I could tell you how many refills they are taking. That's what I will order from now on, though.

BTW the megas do hold nearly 2 ml of juice versus the 510s holding a little under 1 ml.

They work good for me. It is a trick to actually figure out the best way to refill. Using a syringe is key...going slow on fill. If you go to fast...this is where folks say they leak...go slow on the refill or orginal first fill. I'm a nurse so syringe's are not frightening to me. It is tricky at times. I have the ego and reg carts. I love the ego carts more.

I'm glad to hear that about the Boge soft caps. I have some ordered (same supplier too) but it will be a couple of days yet. I plan to do just what you are doing, changing cartos throughout the day for variety.

I had to pull the plunger on the syringe and drip into the syringe itself. Of course there were stray drips and a mess to clean up. I can drip right into the tiny hole on the carto just fine. Thanks for the info on the eGo cartos. I might have to try them.

I always fill that way. Placing needle in hole....then place fluid in body...place plunger back on and slowly add some pressure. I do this slowly and it works for me.

I think the ego cartomizer taste better than regular ones. Less airy. More tasty. Last longer.

Hated the ego mega's, the flavor goes to crap after your first fill. they're the worst cartomizers I've tried yet.

I've been using the Mega cartos and really enjoying them. If you put your carto on top of the bottle and then start filling you won't lose a whole bunch of juice if it leaks. It'll just drip right back into the bottle. No more guesswork, no more messes.

Anyone know of a U.S. supplier who carries colors other than black? I have a pink eGo and it would be cool if I could get pink Mega cartos for it. I don't want to go through the Chinese suppliers because I'm having problems with Paypal.

Neat trick- if you get the white ones...which I did by mistake at the local vape shop
you can actually see your fluid in the fluid cup which lets you know how much you have left BEFORE you get the nasty taste..it also helps with filling...pretty cool makes me wish all the e2 carto's had a clear area to see your amount of juice.

Interesting. I've been using the mega-cartos and have nothing negative to report on them.

However, I did order some of the mega-cartridges and atty's today just to see how they do.

I've only had one XL and didn't like it. Seemed like the draw was too airy, I couldn't get consistant good vapor from it. It was probably just me though.
