These are just the USB wall warts. The actually charger is at the end of the USB cable and is the part that your battery threads into. It has a regulator that only allows 420 mA - 500 mA of current anyhow. Those 1000 mA wall warts are capable of supplying more, but you will need the appropriate charger for it.
Also, most of the eGo style batteries were only meant to charge at 420 - 500 mA, they may experience shorter lifetimes or bigger problems if you subject them to much much higher charge currents. Also, remember that these batteries are specced to higher discharge currents (much much higher) than continuous charge currents.
