ego ctwist and Iclear 16 clearo

Just returned from the vape shop where I bought an ego twist 650mah battery and the iclear 16 DC. Didn't think about the Iclear being DC, so now I ask, how does the 650mah battery hold up with the 2.0Ω DC? This will be used as an out and about vape where the battery life won't be too critical as I always have a back up. Thanks.

The DC's that the eGo can have a problem with are the 1.5-1.7ohm ones. 2.0Ω should be good, but if the coils get gunky, check them occasionally

I love my iclear 30 on my twist. But I've been slowly steering away due to bottom-fed microcoils.

Have you ever had a problem getting the bottom of the clearo unscrewed from the body? I'm not able to get mine unscrewed it's so tight.

Like bottom where the threading is? Haven't taken it apart other to add liquid.


Edit, just checked. Tight but not hard to remove.

Just in case... it's just the knurled part that unscrews, not the slick chrome part

Yeh, the knurled part. It is so tight, I don't know how to get it loose without breaking it. Guess I'll have to take it back tomorrow and get it replaced.

You can get the most power out of the eGo Twist at about 1.9 ohms, so 2 ohms is close to ideal.

(The twist limits at 2.5 amps and 4.8 volts and 4.8/2.5= 1.92 ohms)

It's what I use, or close to that. But it's not really critical.

Ha! Those things are too small for my old eyes and thumbs to mess with.

I also use 2.5 ohms sometimes. Max. power is then 4.8*4.8/2.5= 9.2 watts

With 1.92 ohms, max. power is highest: 4.8*4.8/1.92 = 12 watts.

Note: Power drops below 1.92 ohms because the Twist will only put out 2.5 amps.
