eGo/hello-016 + lots of cartomizers

Wanna hookup with an eGo or Hello, but have alot of KD808D cartomizers. I made the switch to the 808 and won't go back. Is it possible to use a eGo or Hello
with 808's? Is anybody doing it?

I use mine at times with the 808s and it is good. Must use an adapter as Draco stated.

Here's a small 510-KR8 adapter from mad vapes.

Wife and I got feed up with the carts and switched ours over to the KR808s with the adapter. Works like a camp and its the perfect length. I think if you just used the 510 cartomizers they wouldn't stick far enough out from the cone to get good air flow. The adapter adds that 1/3 of an inch you need. Do it! You will love it.

O and we take the labels off our cartomizers to make sure that air can get down the cone. If you dont they are a tad on the snug side and make the draw a bit much.

You are not the only one thinking theis way. Heaven-gifts actually includes a 510-901 adapter in their eGo kits.

if the draw is a bit much...depending on the adapter (I got mine from madvapes)...if you take the adapter off you can use a screwdriver on the slotted 901/808 end of the adapter and turn it counterclockwise and adjust the airflow...works like a dream with mine and I dont have to peel the cartos then..

Appreciate the input! I'm leaning in the direction of the Hello because of price. I grew tired of trying to keep a 901 atomizer running for more than 3 days. The cartomizers took some getting used to, but really prefer them now. All thats missing is battery longevity, the eGo or Hello should provide the missing link. Thanks again for the info.

be aware that on the hello the cone and atty are 1 piece (the atty is glued into the cone) and thereby if you want the look/function of the cone you're stuck with proprietary "conomisers" (somebody else's word not mine)... ego the cone screws onto the battery itself..

Metalrain, I followed Drodz's advice, and I'm a happy happy vaper right now.

I (exclusively) used KR808 batts, (901's close cousin) and was fed up with the short battery life....so I bought an eGo. Then I bought the adapter from madvapes. A little loosening with a tiny flat-head screw-driver and viola! Perfect draw. I've been using my eGo's (got 2 batteries with my kit) since friday. They charge within 2 hours for me. I haven't used the KR batts at all.

But I'm enjoying my KR carts.

Do it, you won't regret it.
