Has anyone else tried these and if so have you experienced a bad taste from them? Thanks for responses.

Did you blow it out before you used it? Atomizers are often shipped with a fine coating of machine oil that needs to be blown or rinsed out before you use it.
I have used them, and love it, but you do have to keep it wet. Couple times I wasn't paying attention
and let the cart run too dry and got an awful tasting hit. A few drops of pure VG on the atty vaped thru
cleared the taste. I've found the mega atty will use a lot of juice, produce a lot of vapor, makes sense.
I use the blue foam mod on my carts to make sure they wick fast enough and can put about 1.5mL
into a dry cart, and top it off with .5mL from time to time.
Topping off a cart can take a couple squeezes from the bottle, not drops, I don't need no stinking drops
anymore, just squeeze it in

that is all i use. never experienced a bad taste, but then again,i saturate my cartridges so much with very strong juices e.g. VaporBomb Fire & Ice or Breezesmokes Cinnamon Pear......

waiting for it to soak or dry.
Thanks Stosh, I do have some blu foam so I'll throw that in there and I'm also gonna give the vg "cleaning" a try.
WOH, yes I did blow it out before I started with it a few days ago. I'm onto my third one with this same metally undertone. I've done the same things I've always done with regular 510's or any other atty I've got. There just seems to be something there. It does go away a little with stronger flavored juices. Frustrating!
Get them wet, the amount of drops that would drown a standard 510 atty and be leaking all over,

The eGo Mega atomizers can sometimes be tough to keep wet just because of their size. You might want to try cutting off just a little bit of the filler material in the cart. It always seemed to me that they were overstuffed and that caused wicking problems.
How long do you guys leave your pollyfill in your carts before you change them on your mega's?
When the filler started looking a little crusty on the top, I would just trim it down a bit. With regular maintenance, the filler should last a very long time.
I change the fill to "blue foam" as soon as I unwrap them, it wicks so much better.

i leave them in forever.....i am very lazy with mine........once they get really junky lookin, i just start using a fresh cartridge. i dont mess with changing/replacing filler. i do rinse mine out sometimes when i change to a new flavor, but many times i am so lazy i just top off whatever flavor i have in the cart with my new flavor..eventually the new flavor takes over.
