Ego Mega Cartomizers Keeps on Licking

Hi Guys. Is there any other alternative in refilling these cartos? I've tried several methods posted on the thread but it seems that it keeps on licking. These are the steps on what i did.

1. On new cartos, i filled it with 1.8ml of e-juice using a syringe. One video suggested to fill it first on the sides about 1/3 for each and the remaining will be on the center. But still it licked on the bottom like crazy.

2. On new cartos, i directly injected on the center 1.8ml of juice and it did not licked at first but when i screwed on the battery and vaped, i noticed that my fingers were all wet.

Wiped them off and continued vaping for the whole day. Night time I tried to refill them with just 0.5ml of juice and same thing happened. Still licked.

I'm planning on quitting with these mega cartomizers as it consumes and wastes a lot of juice and where i'm staying right now its not that easy to replenish.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated. Sorry for the long post. Thanks!

I thought the same thing about these cartomizers. Also I took one apart after a day of use and there was a chard build up around the coil. I prefer separate atty and cart.

I am having the same exact problem. I bought ten of these things and now I think I may have to just give up on them. Bummer. It did help a little to remove some of the excess on the sides with the syringe like one of the videos on youtube showed. Sounds like the same video you watched. While it seems to defy logic to put the fluid in on either side...and then remove it...it did seem to help. Also it got a bit better when I let it sit overnight. But I might say, I am finding these very "user un-friendly" too.

Same here. I got the Ego MegaAtty and MegaCart and it works great....only thing is it's so big it looks like something Godzilla would vape with. The Cart is HUGE....

I had some leakage problems with them but generally got away from it by careful filling and then letting them sit upright to drain for a few minutes after filling. Nonetheless I found them to be inconsistant in performance, flavor, and totally lacking in terms of ease of use - bottom line a general pain in the ... and not worth the trouble. I still have one that I've not used out of the original batch of 5 that I ordered. I don't know when if ever I'll waste the juice on it. I've moved on to experimenting with the E2 rev 3's but so far am not impressed with them either.

Right now I'm drawing on a proven "old school" Boge carto and feeling quite satisfied. I've found the eGo mega cartomizers to be a major dissapointment.

It helped the leaking situation when I limited the fill to 1.5ml (and not one drop more). But I just find the whole experience too troublesome to deal with. Worse than the leaking is the weird taste I get from these. Sort of like burning plastic, even when I know its full and can't possibly be burning. Tried different flavors and different strengths. No luck. My favorite juices just don't taste the same when using the Mega. I think these need to go back to the drawing board. Maybe they should be made from a different type of plastic...or metal. Or perhaps a different material for the stuffing. I don't know. And its difficult to tell when you need to add liquid too, can't look inside too easily like regular cartos to see how wet they are. You have no idea when they need topping off. I went thru a few of these just to be sure I hadn't burned them, hence the burned taste. Nope, they all tasted the same. If someone comes up with a solution, let me know. I bought a bunch of these and I can't use them. Bummed.
