I got a couple of these at Vapefest and I think they are great! They hold a lot of juice and you can vape it al day so I am very happy with them, just ordered more. They do look great on my egos. I thought the rubber drip tip would pop off like the smaller version but they don't, guess it's a thicker rubber base and the threads fit all of my ego's just fine.

Glad you like them - they are a nice piece of hardware and considering how long they last, I think they're well worth the price.

Bassman, first of all, I told my death metal, guitar shredding friend, that I think that bass is the most important part of the band. That it provides a foundation for the listeners, and a grounding for the guitar player so he doesn't just start flying off every which way. He disagreed with me.
'
That said, how long did your battery last with a standard atty? I'm over 18 hours now (with some sleep) on a single charge of what is supposed to be a 650.

Yea, guitardists and dummers never agree with that FACT! :p

My 1000 mAh batts will generally last me about 10-12 hours with regular cartos, but I vape like the proverbial freight train.

Yes, it is a FACT. I had this revelation one night when I was ripped. And I'm a guitar player. It's hard to dispute that fact, when you're listening to music with a top notch bassist. He told me that the bass is even rarely heard, and not necessary. Les Claypool is a god, and I'm sure he'll say differently.

OK, now I have somewhere to go with a little math. Like I said, I'm on 19 hours now with a supposedly 650. Maybe I got bigger batteries by mistake. I don't know. Anyway to figure that out? I thought I vape a lot. I'm going through a ml and a half a day. I didn't really get much sleep, so I may go though 2 in this past 24 hour period, unless I fall asleep again to complete my cycle.

Another bassist here :D

If you like shredding bassists listen to Billy Sheehan sometime as he tends to make g*itarists cry - my current favorite is and probably always will be Victor Wooten, but Claypool's definitely got skills.

I vape about 3ml a day on pretty much the same setup carpedebass uses, except I use the 1100mAh KGO battery I mentioned in another thread. I generally get about 8 hours on a 1.5 ohm EMDCC but if you read back in this thread I posted an x-ray of one that I ran as my only carto for 30 days straight before a coil died just to see how long it would last. Granted, after about two weeks I had to run a paper clip up the thing three or four times a week to keep the vapor flowing but I regularly get at least two weeks out of these things.

Billy is my primary influence! I learned his three finger right hand technique years ago and it has served me well. Billy is IT!!

Now, regarding your picture...who makes that 2600 mAh battery to the right? Nevermind...found it.

Yea, I'm going to watch that one. Not paying $250 to get one though...but it's tempting.

Yup. healthcabin's closed for a week-long holiday now, so that should ease your temptation somewhat :)

I like this because e-power cones aren't eGo-compatible so you've gotta use an adapter to use an EMDCC or get Smoktech's e-power version of the EMDCC. I do have questions about whether it'll hold a protected battery but assume it will - and you can get 3000mAh 18650 batteries.

Spoke with Brent at Hoosier e-cig supply on this and he told me that a plain old 420mAh eGo charger is hotter than the 350mAh charger that comes with an ePower kit - but it'll still take awhile to charge a 2600mAh or better battery off a USB port.

Oh for sure it'll take a while...likely 7-8 hours or so at a minimum, but if we get 2 of them, what would it matter? Perhaps we should talk to them about a co-op buy with reviews on this forum?!?

Can't win if you don't play - they're all off until the 8th, though.

2600 mAh sounds great. But keep in mind that mAh is only part of the equation. As an analogy, mAh is just the size of the gas tank. It says nothing about horsepower, torque, or fuel economy.

Batteries are a complete science of their own, and I won't go there on this thread. But I hate to see people waste money like I did. Bigger (mAh) is not necessarily better.

JJ :)

Wizard, thanks for that picture. I was finally able to get a close to accurate measurement of my battery, as best as I can without a physical ruler, and I do have the 650. It's still going after 20 hours, with breaks. I'm not constantly vaping. I use it like I'd be smoking cigarettes. Maybe a little more.

^^ Is this a true to life size picture? If so, then I have a 900, and was supposed to have 650. I like that fact.

No. Use the mm chart on the right side of the pic.

Pictures on computers are essentially never life size. It's essentially impossible for me to send you a life size picture because I don't know your monitor settings. A picture that happens to be life size on my computer probably won't be on yours.

On that picture, and the computer I'm using right now, the picture comes out a little bigger than life size.
