imho, i don't think there's any way the drip tips can fail to improve this already perfect carto ... only problem for me is the bad tasting rubber tip. it seems to change the flavor of the e-juice for me. right now, i'm not using any tip at all, which isn't great either but is still an improvement for me. i'm probably too finicky about taste, tho.
as for the now "formerly" dud carto, it's firing great now! when i first got the emdcc's, i did the needed adjustments to both the batts and cartos, and they all fire up ... no problem. that one carto, tho, wasn't acting right and, on examination, had some little wires sticking out in the center hole of the batting, so i took a needle and pushed them up against the batting ... it seems to be firing great now, and i'm just amazed! at first, it was as tho only 1 coil was firing, it didn't seem to draw properly, and i couldn't get much vapor from it ... but, now, it seems fine. i don't know if it will last as long as the others, but it's working for now. mof, i just took a draw from it, and it's working perfectly ... so maybe it fixed itself? lol i'm pleasantly surprised and glad i didn't toss it out!! i have a problem with tossing something i've paid good money for until i'm totally sure it's dead. this is the carto i put the heavy, thick, coffee-flavored juice in last night, and it seems to have only helped it to work better! i haven't a clue as to why. lol
when it comes to that first cleaning, i'm going to try the hot water flush first, and, if that doesn't work, i'll try the boiling water route. and if that doesn't work ... ???
DOES ANYONE KNOW why hydrogen peroxide would be bad for a carto? it's what i've used with success in the past for difficult to clean cartos. i'm not saying i'm going to need to use h2o2 with the emdcc's but was just wondering? the cartos i used h2o2 on were gunked up pretty bad from the dark juices and hot, or boiling, water didn't do a thing for them, but an overnight soak in h2o2 seemed to bubble all that gunk out nicely.
also, i think SIX IS RIGHT ... you can't kill these things, and they only seems to get better, but, i haven't cleaned any of them yet, so there's still a chance for me to kill one!
'NUTHER QUESTION ... concerning the carto caps that don't come with the emdcc's but that i have 2 sets of from trying out the ego mega carto, could these end caps be useful when having 3 or more cartos going ... to keep the batting/juice from drying out? it might just be my imagination that, after leaving a full or partially full carto sitting for a day or so, the batting seems very dry from being exposed to air (albeit humid, florida air). does that make any sense to anyone else? i'm thinking about ordering a couple more ego mega cartos just so i can have more end caps. of course, that means i have to keep those awful rubber tips for the end caps to fit on.

I actually thought about purchasing a 5 pack of ego mega cartos too just to get both caps. I could see where I would have up to five flavors/cartos goin' at one time. I think it would help keep the 'juice' fresh and from 'drying out'.

These cartos aren't prone to leaking, but they aren't sealed, so air would definitely have an effect on them. If you had a couple for spares that were already filled with juice, I do think it would be a good idea to have them sealed in some way. The condom ends from previously bought products would be ideal for this and probably much better than just putting them in a plastic bag. If nothing else, maybe some cling-wrap would do a decent job.

I am happy to report that my order from Madvapes arrived this morning with six more EMDCC cartos and a V2 shorty adapter for my epower. I only ordered one of the adapters, and the next day I saw a post somewhere that it would require two to work. Bummer. However I found that one works perfectly with only a very slight gap between the carto and the threaded portion where the cone attaches. It looks almost like it was meant to be there. It does make for a large unit (about the size of a Double Corona Hoyo de Monterey) but that is my favorite cigar size anyway. I'm a happy camper.

I went ahead and ordered 5 regular ego mega cartos from the link you posted. I figure I'll end up using them for fruit flavors and mint for a cooler vape, and use the EMDCC for juice that vapes better warm like chocolate, tobacco, coffee, caramels, etc. Now I'll have my caps to keep cartos fresh!
How's the kona mocha doing with your EMDCC? Is it clogging up yet?

i'm with you on those end caps(!), but the cartos are messy syringe fill and then they leave too much to be desired. i just want the caps and will probably just stash the cartos for extreme emergencies (can't think what that could be, tho). the kona mocha hasn't clogged the emdcc's yet, but i did put that carto down after i went thru 2 ego batts in 11 hours vaping. my coffee/cocolate addiction is just too strong. i'm back to vaping it again today, tho, and the carto is still firing great and hasn't clogged yet. remember that i did a 50/50 mix of 36mg kona mocha and vg, tho. the real test will be when i get some 6-11mg kona mocha that i can add straight to the carto without diluting.

I'm sure after a couple of days break-in period and it will be a cloud maker.
The only problem I have which is my fault , when then mailman showed up
with my order I was mixing up some juice form Cig.com that came earlier in
the day . In my over excitement I grabbed the syringe that I thought was
50/50 Marlboro 30mg..... well after about three drawls my ears are ringing
and I start to sweat , I'm thinking damn these EMDCC's are the bomb and
I might have to lower my nicotine level. I decide to double check the syringe
I used and sure enough I loaded the cart with 100% VG Marlboro 48mg.
I hope my tomorrow morning I'll have enough room to add some straight
PG to mellow this cart out a bit.

If you don't mind wasting the juice, these rinse out real well and dry overnight. It would be good to go by t'morrow afternoon.

Sounds like you've got the same exact juice as me! I ordered a 10ml bottle of MadVapes Kona Mocha in 36mg. I tried it with a regular atty and it was way too strong for me, so I cut it 50/50 with the VG I got from that free gallon of VG deal that one chemical supplier had. It's still completely black even with half of it being VG! Quite the surprise, must be some dark dark dark flavoring they use.
I have not yet tried it in one of my EMDCCs because all 4 still have some other flavors in them, and I was worried about clogging up the coils. I ran out of Grandpa's mix, and was thinking about running the cart dry to see how long it takes for that awful burnt taste to present itself, and so I could take one of these apart. I think instead I'll just wait a bit longer, and fill the cart with my Kona Mocha mix, it will probably taste funky at first with the remains of the Grandpa's mix, but hopefully the Mocha is strong enough a flavor to cover it up. And if I do end up clogging the coil, it won't be a big deal since I was going to run this carto dry anyway.

yes ... with the size of these cartos, i think we get double everything we inhale from them. i had to lower my nic level, too. i was vaping 24 to 36mg and, with the emdcc's, started to have symptoms of nic poisoning. i keep charcoal capsules on hand, anyway, so i've the taken the capsules a few times to try to clear out any toxins ... not sure if it really works (or if it just cleared with time), but i felt better the next day after taking the charcoal. i normally have some tinnitus, but, if i get too much nic, it gets really bad. i had a few more symptoms, too. i'm really happy about the amount of vapor we are getting from these, and lowering the nic level can only be a good thing. nic poisoning can be serious, so be careful. maybe you can use those high-nic juices to mix with some vg and no-nic flavors to tone the nic down a lot? i have loads of vg on hand and am going to order some more no-nic flavors to do that with. i think i'll do much better with around 8mg of nic with these cartos but that's just me.UncleChuck: yes ... the kona mocha is a pretty strong flavor, so i think you'll do well to do just as you stated. if there isn't much of the former flavor left in the carto, the kona mocha should overpower the other flavor, but i still want to try it full strength at a lower nic level. think it's time for me to go get my kona mocha carto right now.
also, i need to start ordering larger bottles of the coffee & chocolate flavors now ... also want to expand to some other e-liquid providers. i love the chocolate macaroon & chocolate fudge bavarian cream from mv, tho. also, since i only budget so much monthly for vaping, with all the money i've spent on equipment that didn't work up to snuff, i haven't been able to buy all the flavors i intend to buy now that i finally have a decent carto to vape. this is such a relief! i'm just in awe with this drip tip, too ... improves the flavor of the juices so much ... no more rubber taste!okay ... finally finished editing and adding things to my post. i'm so guilty of almost always doing that.

I was able to puff it down enough to squeeze
in 1ml of VG so now its 100% VG at about 30mg.

Well just be carefull. I over did it the other night and next morning woke up with the room spinning, couldn't take a step, wound up on the floor and got real sick. Missed work that day. I'm pretty sure it was nic overdose since I wasn't sick and hadn't eaten any bad Chinese. Hard to believe these are so good, I mean the XL DCCs can't even compare to these in many ways. So glad I ordered these, it makes everything so simple now.

I normally order 18mg strength, but I'm gonna cut it down to 12 next batch I order. You are not whimpy, lol, nicotine can be very toxic as you know, also one of the most addictive substances on this planet. I've given up lots of things in my lifetime without looking back but the nic is just too hard for me to overcome. Thank goodness for this method of delivery.
BTW, the itching could also be a sensitivity to the PG. You may want to try more VG and organic juices with your next order if you haven't already,
