haha ... hey cigarman! it's probably the desert ship that's keeping yours going so long. lol i'm very glad to hear it. :)

The one I'm using has lasted almost as long - I started using it on the 5th after killing its predecessor with a paper clip. I figure I've run close to 60ml of DK-TAB through it - running a paper clip up the center hole has become part of my daily ritual as it'll get a little tight if I don't do it every two or three days but this thing might run forever :D

that's great! i think dk-tab will keep a carto going almost forever. i've been using heavier, sweeter juices and sometimes mine tend to clog more ... different with each carto. also, the more emdcc's i open, i'm finding they're not all rolled the same; a couple had the coil in a position where i couldn't just slide the paperclip thru that easily (center hole was way too tight, and i had to almost pry it open) ... others are so open that the paperclip isn't needed as often, and those seem to last forever. guess we can't expect them to all be the same. they're still the best thing i've tried, so far. :)

I'm killing mine pretty fast. 3 days. I'm using FSUSA RY5 because I bought 120 ml. It's really clogging and the liquid tastes burnt after a couple days. Just ordered a bunch of juices from ecblend, we'll see how that goes.

right ... 3 days isn't very long. burned liquid sounds like a sweetener problem to me, but there are others here who would know what you can add to those juices to enhance them so they are more usable in cartos. i'm too new at mixing to know enough about it yet. one of my suppliers recently changed its juices, and it's causing me a bit of a problem, too. i'll know more later today or tomorrow, if i can fix the problem or not (getting some more mixing supplies in the mail) without ruining the flavors. right now, i've switched back to my old dekang tobacco 24mg mixed with just a little vg diluted with distilled water to lower the nic content. i love my chocolate juices, tho, so i'm hoping i can do better. if you see that a carto is starting to burn from the juice, you can just go ahead and clean it and, after it dries, be able to use it again. at least that's the way it's worked for me. :)

I must remember not to buy the clearos of this again, actually. Took apart all of the "failed" ones I've gone through (3 of them now in a week) to discover both coils are still firing just fine, but the plastic cracking at the bottom was what was giving me such weak, airy draws. Not even a spot of glue kept them from hitting like crap and tasting weak. Payday this week is going to see a new order for a bunch of the black whistle tipped ones, even if they wont match the white batteries.

Spray paint the black ones? They don't get hot :D

edit: I guess if you really wanted to you could cut the bottom out of a white Type B tank and take out the little plastic thing on the mouthpiece end :D

Are the black ones actually painted, or the usual black sticker design? Stainless would look more appealing to me than the black, but either way these things are awesome enough that I'll suffer the aesthetic disgrace to use 'em.

Or an excuse to buy new, black batteries! :D

Also, tried shaving down the connector on my current batteries before I realized the real problem with them... they have a ridge at the lip above the button that's keeping the connection from being made. Gonna grab a V2 shorty extension (this is what I'd need, right?) when I get more EMDCCs to negate the filing problem.

The EMDCCs I have are painted.

If you're gonna buy new batteries you might wanna wait until the end of the week when hoosier e-cig supply gets in their shipment of 1100 mAh KGO batteries - that is, if you're interested. They still have them in pink but Brent told me the other colors should be in around Friday.

KGO batteries :)

They come off the charger at 4.2v and cut off at 3.3v, which is about where an off-the-charger Joyetech battery starts :D

I was mostly just being dumb on that one. Just got the new white batteries, no reason to throw 'em out for not coordinating, a .99 extender will be a lot more practical for a tighter wallet.

I am having zero luck finding type b drip tips from any of my usual suppliers, and even the ones I'm not familiar with only have black delrins. Is there no option available for such a thing? :(

i don't know where you can get type b drip tips in colors, but here's a store that has the black ones for just $2.49 each ...
Drip tip - black delrin -for eGo-A, eGo-B, Sun, 801, Echo

On one hand, they have literally everything hardware that I was looking to order this time around, so waiting on 2 or 3 separate shipping orders wouldn't be as painful. On the other hand, each EMDCC is 50c more and the 510 extender is an extra 2 or 3 bucks... and I'd feel stupid to order a single drip-tip from these guys alone. Oiii....

This is a common dilemma in the vaping world. There are so many vendors. Many good vendors actually. Finding that one single vendor that has everything at the best price, well, it ain't easy.

you are so right about that! when i'm ordering multiple items, i take that into consideration, also. i thought you were just needing to order a drip tip only ... sorry. :(

what batts are you using? maybe i missed something, but can't you just adjust the center post of the batt or emdcc to make everything work without an adapter?
