Well I'll give a try, what's the worse that could happen? Needed some Boge stainless anyhow....my hubby likes the emdccs and can never tell if they are drawing hard or not, he just knows when they need to be re-filled. I have to pry them loose from him to throw one away when it's too yuk.

Thanks for the sale!

My pleasure! :) Have a good weekend.

got my Boge 2.0s in today finally. tried out some of the juice i ordered from GoodProphets.. it smells terrific in the bottle... buuuut i cant seem to get the boge carto to wick it up. i drenched this thing using a syringe and a shot glass. its not wanting to reach the coil.. the juice from GP is arounf 85-90% VG. ill try cutting it down and seeing how it works.

using my other juice though. it wicks fine, not as much vapor production as my working EMDCC though. gives very strong hits. if 5 out of 5 of these work using my normal juice, i suppose i will continue to use them. i rather enjoy my EMDCC. but given the rate of bogus ones i have received, id rather have to order any more. will do more testing on the ones i received from vapingzone this weekend.

Maybe just that carto, I filled one up with thick Bobas the other night and it's wicking fine. OTOH the 1.7 resurrector is clogged and won't draw worth a dam filled with the Gorilla Juice. I don't think any two of any brand carto are the same or act exactly the same......ya know what I mean? But I think cartos in general like about a 50/50 mix, either pg/vg or vg/dw along those consistancies.

Interesting. Are you trying to prolong the use or just messing around with 'em?

Yes and yes. I know that the best cart vape I had was with the blue foam; no flooding, decent flav and reusable. I was just thinking that it'd be great if the filler could be pulled, cleaned and reinserted. While the filler is out, dry burn the built up crud off.

Guess due to liking the eMDCC so much, I'd love to extend it's life span. Maybe it's just a 'pipe' dream. But I think it would be interesting to try. Maybe after I get better with DIY joose I'll give this a shot.

Been trying to figure out how to wrap some blue foam around an eMDCC coil set up... just for the halibut.

Try wrapping it around a straw but will be a little tricky. Once you get it started, it should slide down with the straw..use tweezers or something to hold the filler in as you slowly pull the straw back out.

that's pretty much how to rebuild the go-go, but how would one be able to pull the top emdcc coil up thru the center? :) wonder how they put these things together in the first place? they must stuff these by hand.

You can do this with the echo-e dual coils also. It takes a little practice and patience but it can be done. You will need tweezers to gently pull the airtube back up to the top. It won't slide down very much so it's fairly easy to get ahold of it. If you're careful with putting the filler back in, you can usually see it and move it to where you need it to be.

I'd be all about making them last longer. Even though I think they last a good while as they are. I have some extra unused Fluval that I was gonna put in my next PIF treasure chest giveaway. I may procure enough of it to try it out when I get my new EMDCCs in. It would have to actually be cut to fit though...may not be worth it.

no air tube in the emdcc's but might be possible somehow with those coils. :) that's one of the problems with the emdcc's ... no air tube to keep the air flow open. with a shorter length of filler it wasn't much of a problem, but with the extra filler they added it's near impossible. hmmmm ... was wondering what to do with all that extra time i have on my hands?

update: since coils can't be blocking the center opening, i still don't see a way to restuff these.

im ~somewhat~ enjoying these Boge 2.0 carts. my only real complaint is refilling. the poly fill in mine seems a bit tight for my juice consistency. if i vape a cart dry, i can only get maybe 10 drops in there before it puddles around the top. i fill these slowly but i always get leakage out of the bottom end. which usually leads me to believe that the cart is full.. but 10 drops isnt really sufficient to fill it from dry i wouldnt think...

one perk of the EMDCC though is the opposite of this. easy to refill, polyfil is airy and absorbent enough. never had issue there..

I do a bottom condom fill and then top off from the top down. But I don't use as thick a juice as you do. Once it's good and moist it's just a matter of adding a drip tip and dripping into the carto to keep it moist. About once a day they need a good re-fill though to keep from drying out completely. Filling from both ends seems to get them fully filled up. Yep, not as easy to deal with as the emdccs, just another of several options. I think I'm going to enjoy my LavaTank when I get one. Punch some holes in carto, fill the tank with about 3.5ml and kick back and vape....no worries.

i just did a condom/spin fill. seemed to work as far as saturating the carto. but im getting wicked dry hits after about 5 minutes of vaping. just seems strange. i started using this carto yesterday around 6pm and it worked well all night, few top offs here and there. today it seems like its struggling

How thick is that juice? It sounds like it's clogged already. I blow them out also, that helps. But the smaller cartos do not do well with thick juices.....some peeps say nothing thicker than a 70PG/30vg mix, and I'm pushing it with 50/50. Try a thinner mix with the next one and see what happens.

umm... i had a 30ml bottle of 60% pg 40% vg, in which i added another 30ml 100% PG... so... 20% VG 80% PG.

i just thought it was weird. same juice i used all last night. but today, this one particular cart seems like its burning dry within 5 minutes after a refill. using the Boge 2.0s on a eGo-T 1000mah battery.

earlier today though, i did try out the 80% VG juice i got when i ordered the cartos. tried to see if it was the juice that tasted nasty or if i just had a bad carto (first carto out of the box i used with this juice wouldnt wick at all)

turns out the juice tastes like $%#@ AND that carto is bad, as it wont even work with my standard juice.

as of right now. im holding onto my only working EMDCC like it was gold hah

It does happen now and then, bad cartos, try a new one and if that's bad I'd open a ticket with the vendor. I don't know what's happening lately with quality of several different MFGs cartos, it's like a crap shoot to get a 5 pk with all of them good. I've still got a few emdccs from July left. I'm saving them for special occasions like when I have to go out of town and don't want to cart around a bunch of bottles with me.

just tried flushing this carto out with water using my plunger syringe. forced water through both ends a few times. blew it out dry and did some dry burning. condom filled from the bottom.. we'll see what happens. as cheap as these cartos are, i dont mind having to mess with a few for learning process. but i would agree. a 5 pack should have 5 working units IMO. i would somewhat feel silly opening a ticket for just 1 of these. but i still have 3 more in the box to test out.

You don't dry burn cartomizers, Vhal - only atomizers. To dry out a carto you blow all the water out of it and stick it in a 200 degree oven for a couple hours (3+ hours for a high capacity carto like an EMDCC), dry them with a hair dryer, in front of a fan, or sit them on the windowsill for a few days.

note taken Wizard. for what its worth, i didnt dry burn it very long. and i use a light vacuum pump with a hose attached for drying. worked quite well on this one. quicker than oven drying too.

side note: i dig the condom fill from the battery end. looks like ill be carrying more than 1 type of condom with me from now on... ZING!
