Hello all this is just my little review of the vv apv. I went early birthday shopping and headed down to the local vape store with the intent to get the mvp 2. Instead I picked up this guy ..

The options this battery offered for ME were better than the mvp 2.0 IMO. The price was also better, the only gripe I knew before I bought it was battery life. It offers a 1300mah battery compared to the 2600mah of the mvp 2, but it's pass through. It also offers 3v-6v and 3-15w, ohm reader, and battery indicator! Seven screen display colors and 14 second smart protection. So let's get to the initial inbox..

As you see in the unboxing you get a USB cord (mini) and the apv itself. My first thoughts it's small, light, and offers good grip with a slight rubberized coating. The screen is very easy to read and not in a bad location at all. Like all ego batteries the button has a five click on and off and also a two click to change menu categories. Very easy to use IMO. Near the screen you have 2 buttons and they have a nice feel to them and the right amount of resistance. It's a little longer than your standard ego as you can see..

It's very easy to Cary and fit in the hand. Yes it does look like a wizard wand but at the same time it's very comfortable and perfect carry around! Also it has 510 and ego threading, perfect for people with a variety of tanks!

Also included in the box are the directions of course

Now let's get to the vape and initial use. I elected to use my kayfun since it's my favorite tank out there. I built a coil at 1.5 ohms and it is the lowest it will fire. If your into rda's then this is not the device for you! I filled the kayfun up with some delicious MBV Hawk Sauce juice and fired away. As soon as I pressed the fire button it read out my ohms and showed my battery life while going into a straight vape. After you let off the fire button it shows you how many puffs you had and battery life, which in my case was 55 and full three bars.I started with 10w just so I could screen cycle and get use to the menu. First two clicks it took me to volts, then LCD color, next watts, and last puff counter. Very easy to use and not annoying at all. The cycling was very thought out and convenient. The button is raised and lights up blue so you can easily find it.

I took it to the full 15 watts and wow! I love my kayfun on here and to me it's the perfect vape. Compared to my nemesis I do not miss it. The vape is warmer on the mech and does produce some more vapor but it wasn't convenient for me. You can still build coils on this platform and be happy or go with the ego style tanks. So let's conclude..

Overall I'm happy with this device and there and many pros than cons IMO. I only have 61 puffs on this unit so time will tell how long it lasts. If you looking to get a vamo, mvp2, smok sid or zmax, or any vv/vw unit to 15watts definitely consider the Ego Mega V3.
Pros :
Light
Easy to use
Battery indicator, ohm meter, puff counter, LCD display, and pass through
Size
510/ego threading
Clean threads
Price
Performance for what it is
Easy to read in sun light
Does not get hot
Saves settings
Lock feature
Compatible with ego lanyards
Flush mount for attys
Tight connection
At home or on the go device
Quality built
Hits hard or soft

Cons
Some would say battery life
2.5a limit
LCD display to some
Ohm limit
33.3 zh vs the mvp
Disposable to some
Have to set wattage and voltage yourself, no smart sensing.

Anyways that is my review of the Ego V3 Mega so far. I'm happy with my purchase and just wanted to give y'all a little info! These are my opinions only and I'm open to many. Happy vaping.

Add the pro: will work with ego style lanyards, which many ego type batteries won't, due to fire button type not being compatible.
For some of us this is a BIG plus!

Thanks for the review! I've been eyeing these little devils as potential portable devices, due to the display feature being so handy.

I just did ;) this unit is really great so far and recommend it! I don't think you will be disappointed. Again this is only my initial use and we will see how it holds up. The review may sound like I'm trying to sell this product, it's not by any means. I'm just very happy with it so far. It's everything I wanted in a great size and ego built style.

2nd day with this unit and I have no regrets so far. I have tried it with many tanks and it works with everything! Even my patriot but I would recommend using a mini rda to drip. 2 days on the factory charge and I wanted to go into a little more depth.

When your charging the screen will flash all seven colors and show CH. Also it will display the battery meter. Click it five times on and you can vape while it is charging. When complete the screen will show full so you can disconnect it from the USB. One other thing I noticed is that if you have a loose connection your screen will read out 000 , telling you there is no connection. When your battery is on bar the screen will read LO and you need to charge. So far no issues with the Ego V3 and will update this more after time. Happy vaping!

3rd day in with over 654 puffs and no regrets. I actually held and used a mvp 2.0 today and have a little comparison. I would say the only think I like about the mvp is the battery life. I used the same settings on both and both hit the same even though the mvp doesn't use the 33.3zh chip. Mvp is heavier and the ego is much lighter, both are very comfortable in the hand. I prefer the weight of the ego though. The screen on the mvp scratches easier and the interface is not as simple to me. I still can get the same hit and go higher if needed. A plus to the mvp is how it auto calculates watts or volts. If I use watts it sets the voltage for you and vice versa. The ego you have to manually do both. I get 2 days on this device and that's with some chain vaping involved and full power on a kayfun. On avg. I'm at 300 to 350 hits a day. The battery meter on the mvp uses a light indication but the ego uses a meter which I prefer. However the build quality goes to the mvp. Also I used the itaste vv3.0 today. I would say ego all the way again. This is a true contender I. The vv/vw world and it definitely holds it's own [emoji100]
