Anyone know a good recent vendor source for a 450 mAh eGo battery ?

Googled it this morning, came up with a lot of "Out Of Stock" listings, or sources in China. Would prefer a domestic source if possible, I'm concerned about delivery time ...

I got this battery a couple of weeks ago from LiteCigUSA, its the perfect size for a pocket eGo pen top setup, and lasts all day for me. But I used it hard, may have overcharged it a few times, and it failed yesterday. Thought about returning it, but I'm too lazy to pack a $12 item and haul it to the PO, and LiteCigUSA is out of stock anyway ...

Any eGo battery thats under 2 1/2 inches total length will suit my "fountain pen" stealth PV, the 650 I have is too long, I use that one at home ...

Any help is much appreciated in advance ... :D

I stumbled across this one, but they showed only one in stock, so I chickened out. I wanted to order two anyway ...

Turns out I was putting the whammy on my own Google search by using "450 mAh" as a criterion. Used "mini eGo battery" and it led me to MyFreedomSmokes, they sell a 420 mAh eGo battery that's only 60mm (less than 2 3/8") long. I ordered two ...

MyFreedomSmokes also has 48mg juices, with a throat hit like an njoy disposable. I'm working my way through their menthol flavors, still seeking that elusive "KOOL Blue" taste ...

I've learned that vendor tips here have a short life cycle. Inventories change, and less popular items don't get restocked ...

But its great to have a few thousand friends to ask ! :toast:

You've had the battery "a couple weeks" and it no longer takes a charge? I'd return it and demand a replacement or money back regardless of any policy they may have to the contrary. That's a totally unreasonable life for an eGo stick battery. Jus sayin'

I agree, and I did send them an email to complain. But a lot of this stuff is produced in such quantities that some percentage of end users get a dud sometimes ...

I remember reading once that auto batteries are produced in such massive quantities now that they don't even spot check them anymore, just ship them out and replace the bad ones later ...

Can't bring myself to pack up a small item like this and make a trip to the PO just to send it back, and since the vendor is now out of stock, all they could do is give me a credit, I suppose. Guess I'll just chalk it up to bad luck ...

You saw my post right? I found 450s for you

Unfortunately, LiteCigUSA is where I got the one that failed (probably not their fault), and now they are out of stock ... :-(

My FreedomSmokes has a mini eGo battery rated at 420 mAh and 60mm long, I ordered one to see if it lasts, and might order a few more if it checks out ...

Seems like the mini eGo stuff is not that popular, everyone else is moving to bigger, not smaller ...

I would still like to find a reliable source for small rebuildable tanks that will fit under a pen cap ...

Since I'm getting such quick response from folks who clearly have more vendor experience than I do, here's the other half of the equation ...

Maybe this doesn't exist (yet), but on top of the short eGo battery I am using a "pen top" clearomizer with a pocket clip ...

http://www.electroniccigarettesfast.com/eGo-W-Tank-Cartomizer-Pen-Cap-Style_p_67.html

They're OK, but they leak a little around the vent, and need to be filled with a needle tip (which I am hesitant to carry away from home), and are disposable ...

Is there anything comparable to this in size that has a removeable cap and is rebuildable ?

That's a great price, wish I had waited, but you know how it is. When you want something, you order it, then check the mailbox all day ...

That 450 is 2 1/2 long, but would still fit a shirt pocket, with the clearomizer and pen cap ...

Next time ... :p

No worries, we plan to keep them as a permenant part of our product line :D

That's good news for me, I'm happy so far with my fake fountain pen PV, and the short battery is what makes it work ...

Just gotta find a better atomizer, lower resistance, with nothing visible to indicate its something other than a pen, and maybe cleanable/rebuildable. That would make a great kit for intermediate vapers, or those of us too feeble to lift a big mod ...
